I speak! Lol, I guess I should thank you for making me do that Iki, even though such whining words came out of my mouth lol. Wow, even better chapters than the previous ones, if that is even possible. >.< It was so tense. Iki, I salute you! You've put up a great fight lol. Wow, my character is really a twisted one. o.O Haha, love it! And what's up with sis? *gulps* Can't wait to find out about her background. C'mon Randy, stop resting around and write the next chapter! >.> *whistles, waiting for Raz to burst in thinking a new chapter was written*

Kametsu Kombat – Chapter 14 – The darkness within...

Random was sat in his quaters, and had been watching the fight between Oblivia and Iki. “As good as you are at sneaking around, you still can’t get the drop on me Kakashi” Random called out, taking a sip of wine from the glass in his hand. Kakashi walked forward into the light. “Yeah, it seems I still can’t fool you.” He replied with a chuckle. Random passed him a glass of wine. “I trust you remember the deal we have?” he asked. “You hold up your end, and I’ll give as much funding as you need to ensure your village doesn’t have to worry about anything for the next 500 years” Kakashi nodded. “I remember, still... I don’t know why your asking this of me, what do you hope to gain out of it?” he asked. Random grinned. “That’s for me to know, and you to find out.”

A scream drew their attentions back to the fight. “Seems Oblivia’s just about done with him.” Kakashi remarked. Random checked his watch. “3 minutes... lasted longer than I thought he would have” Kakashi placed the glass on the side. “Well, I’d better get the preparations sorted before my match then.” Kakashi then vanished almost instantly. “I hate it when he does that...” Random muttered. He heard Oblivia approaching, and after a few moments, the door slide open. “Not bad, but I didn’t expect you to actually speak. I think that’s the first time I’ve heard you” He said.

Oblivia stayed silent, , taking a tissue, and held it to her nose. Random pressed a button on his watch. “Its me, send a doctor to check Oblivia over, she needs to be fighting fit for the next round.” Oblivia glanced up. “I don’t need a doctor...” she mumbled. “Maybe not” Random replied, “But I’m sure you’d rather be in the best condition for what’s to come.”

Oblivia nodded, she knew he was right. “Fine... but I want double my standard pay for the remaining fights, otherwise, our deals off” Random nodded. “Only on the conditions that you carry on speaking, and continue to put on a good show. I’m getting fed up with the silent treatment.” Oblivia nodded. “Fine, guess that ruins my reputation as the “Silent Blade” though” she replied with a grin. “I thought you wanted to leave that title behind you?” Random asked. Oblivia sighed, and the door slide open again, revealing the medic. “Probably a broken nose, just make sure that’s all that’s the matter. I’ve got to make one final phone call before I turn in.” And with that, Random left the room.

Heading to the roof of the building, he took out his phone, and quickly dialled a number. “It’s me... Everythings proceeding as planned. I trust they payment for the death of the Jackel will transferred to the requested destination as promised... excellent... consider us even now Mr President” Random turned his phone off, and looked up into the nights sky. “Soon... it’ll be time...”

Kametsu Kombat – Chapter 15 – Prelude to The Second Battle

The sun rose of the town of Kametsu, and the citizens awoke to a surprise. The first fight had already happened overnight, and resulted in the death of one of the combatants. Videos were being played back on every channel of the fight. Random stood atop Kametsu tower, looking down on the town below. He knew that there would be many people unhappy to hear that they’d missed the first match, however, he hadn’t been left any choice but to have the match play out like it did. Indy had moved faster than planned, and he had had to react.

Random heard a door open behind him. “Are your preparations complete Kakashi?” he asked, still starring out towards the sun. Kakashi nodded. “yes, I’m ready whenever you are.” Kakashi replied. Random turned and nodded, and began walking back inside. “Head to the location we agreed, its almost time.”

-----Meanwhile----

Adelphia was confussed. She’d arranged to meet Reijou for breakfast with Shazi, but she hadn’t shown up. Knowing that it was not like her master to be late, the two of them had hurried off towards her room. “I’m sure she’s fine” Shazi groaned, still half asleep. She’d been up half the night replaying the first match on her watch, and now was feeling the effects. Adelphia gritted her teeth. “It’s not like her to be late for anything Shazi... I think something must have happened.” Shazi yawned and followed. When they approached Reijou’s room, they noticed that the door was open.

Adelphia drew her blades. “Stay close” she whispered to Shazi as the two approached the room. Diving through the door, Adelphia sensed a presence and sung her blades. A loud clang echoed down the corridor. Adelphai fell back, and felt a blade press lightly against her throat. As her eyes adjusted, she saw her master standing over her, holding the blade. “And good morning to you to” she grinned as she stood up and sheathed her blade.

Shazi stood in the doorway, yawning. “Told you she was fine...” she mumbled. Helping Adelphia back to her feet, Reijou looked at the pair. “And just what are you doing here?” she asked them. Shazi just nodded towards Adelpia as if to say “her idea, not mine” Adelphia lowered her head. “I thought something might have happened, you didn’t show up when we agreed...” she began. Reijou gave her a playful flick on the head. “Idiot, I was out training, even I lose track of time sometimes.”

Adelphia nodded. “So... can we eat now?” Shazi asked, her stomach growling, causing Adelphia and Reijou to burst out with laughter. This laughter however, was short lived. Reijou’s watch began bleeping. “The next match will commence shortly.” Reijou’s attitude changed completely. She needed to get through this round no matter what; she had to face off against Oblivia.

“So... I see it’s almost time for us to fight huh?” Kakashi said, appearing behind Shazi, causing her to jump. “I didn’t even hear him approach” she thought to herself, trying to regain her composure. Reijou nodded. “So... what exactly do you want Kakashi?” she asked. Kakashi faced her. “I’d rather we fought somewhere where people aren’t likely to get mixed up in the match, otherwise, neither of us will be able to fight at 100%.” Reijou nodded in agreement. “You have somewhere in mind?” she asked. Kakashi turned. “I do, follow me.”

Adelphia watched kakashi disappear around the corner, Reijou went to follow. “You can’t be serious!” she yelled. “He could be leading you into a trap!” Reijou smiled. “Maybe, but I don’t think he’s the sort of man to do that.” Adelphia’s jaw dropped. “How do you know that?” she asked. “Call in intuition” Reijou replied. “You guys go eat, I’ll meet you when I’m done.”

Adelphia could only watch as her master disappeared after her opponent. “Can we eat now?” Shazi groaned, she was starving.

----A few minutes later----

Kakashi had led Reijou into a dense forest that surrounded the town. “No-one will get caught up in our fight here...” he said, turning to face Reijou, who had drawn her blades. TV screens all over the world began to connect to the cameras and satellite feeds set up. “Battle will commence in 5 seconds” the voice said. “Good luck!” Kakashi called out. “You too” Reijou replied. “FIGHT!” the voice from the watch yelled out, and the two immediately charged one another.

The second battle had begun.
