Appologies for the delay guys, Unfortunately, things have been mega hectic, and I've not had a time to put ideas to text. However, here is the next chapter!

Kametsu Kombat Chapter 18 - Hell hath no fury...

Shazi could barely believe her eyes as she saw Kakashi’s body lying on the floor. Running over, she placed her fingers to the side of his neck, and almost screamed. There was no pulse. Suddenly, her instincts kicked in, and she found herself rolling over Kakashi’s body, and span around, seeing Koby’s gun-blade embedded in the ground. “Missed” he simple remarked. “What the hell is wrong with you!” Shazi yelled. “This isn’t the time to be fighting!”

Koby merely smirked. “Rules are rules, the fights don’t get stopping until one of us surrenders, or drops dead.” He removed his gun blade from the ground, and stepped around the body. “So, are you going to keep fighting, or surrender?” he asked. Shazi gulped. She wanted to keep fighting, to see how far her skills would take her. Out of the corner of her eyes, she noticed Krogoth and Anras appear.

“Dammit, what the hell is going on here!?” Krogoth yelled, before noticing Kakashi’s body. “Holy...” He began to say, then began to run over towards the fight. A dagger landed just in front of him, narrowly missing his foot. Anras glanced upwards to the level above them, and saw Shade standing there. “What’s the big idea?” Krogoth yelled. Shade remained silent, and merely kept his gaze on them.

Koby charged forward, unleashing a flurry of strikes. Each narrowly missing Shazi’s, however, as she stepped backwards, she slipped on a piece of glass. Koby’s blade just skimmed her left cheek as she fell. Ignoring the slight pain on her face, Shazi quickly span her legs, kicking Koby in the gut, and pushing him back. Jumping to her feet, she tried to catch her breath. “As I said earlier... I underestimated you... you’re not all that bad” Koby stated. “Thanks” Shazi replied.

“For a girlie that is!” Koby yelled, diving forward and swinging his blade with full force. However, to his surprise, Shazi didn’t try to dodge the attack. Raising her hand, she caught the blade, and stopped it dead in its tracks. Blood slowly tricked down the edge and dripped onto the glass. Koby was stunned, and Shazi was pissed. “Don’t...” she began, tightening her grip on the blades edge. “EVER CALL ME GIRLIE!” she screamed.

Swinging her arm, she flung Koby across the room, making him loose his grip on his blade. The weapon clattered to the floor, and slide against the base of the stairs. Koby bounced off the floor, and slammed into the wall. Shazi charged forward, and launched a flurry of kicks and punches into Koby’s chest. With rage still lighting the fire in her eyes, she pulled her left fist back, and put everything she had into a final punch to Koby’s face.

The resulting hit sent Koby clean through the wall, into the casino next door. Koby slammed into an old 70’s jukebox, which collapsed on top of him. He was completely out cold. “K.O! Shazi WINS!” the voice rang out from her watch. Shazi took a few moments, before the pain in her hand registered in her brain. “SHIT! THAT HURTS!” she shrieked.

Krogoth and Anras’ eye were close to popping out of their skulls. Without saying a word, they both looked at each other, and nodded in mental agreement. Calling Shazi girlie was likely to be the biggest mistake you could make. Krogoth glanced back u to where Shade was, however, saw that he had disappeared. Anras pointed towards Kakashi. “weren’t you going to play hero as usual?” he asked rhetorically.

Krogoth grunted and ran over to Kakashi’s body. Checking as Shazi had, there was no pulse. “Damn” he muttered, closing Kakashi’s eyes. Krogoth looked up at the hole in the ceiling. “Just who the hell did this...” he wondered.

Jubei and Oblivia appeared around the corner, followed by about 30 minions. Jubei stopped just behind Krogoth. “He’s dead”. Krogoth muttered, anticipating the question. Jubei lowered his head, and then turned to the minions. “Clear up the mess. Take the body to the morgue.” He muttered. She stopped beside Shazi, who was still cursing from the pain. “Get that looked it” he said, holding her hand gently. Shazi nodded, and began to head towards the medical centre.

“Oi!” a voice rang out, causing everyone to turn and look. “This fight is not finished yet!” Koby groaned as he slowly stood up. “The fights over” Jubei replied. “Not yet it isn’t” Koby jeered. Jubei sighed. “When I say this fight is over...” he began, before disappearing out of Koby’s sight for a split second, before re-appearing right beside him. “That means its OVER!” he yelled, flooring Koby with a single punch.

Koby began to cough up blood. Oblivia approached the two, and went to draw her blade. Random raised his hand, knowing what she was going to do. “Don’t, he’s not worth getting blood on your blade” Jubei said darkly. “Throw him out instead.” Oblivia nodded, and picked up Koby effortlessly. After the beating he had sustained from Shazi, and then the punch from Jubei, he had no strength left. Oblivia carried Koby to the door, which was promptly opened by several minions. She flung him as far as she could, sending him crashing into a nearby lake.

Clapping her hands together, she returned to her employer’s side. Jubei glanced at Anras. “Come with me, we need to talk.” He said, as he headed back up the stairs. Anras and Oblivia quickly followed, while Shazi walked down the corridor to the Medical room, leaving Krogoth alone. “Just what the hell is going on?” He wondered.
