Kametsu Kombat – Chapter 8 – FIGHT!

Random glanced up, and looked around. Everyone was lying on the ground, being held down by 2ft tall yellow midgets. “Guess I owe Adelphia an apology” Random thought, trying to ignore the ringing in his ears from the explosion.

“So... which of you is the host?” Anras asked, glancing around. Random stood up, brushing the dust and glass off him. “That would be me.” He said, facing his new ‘guest’. There was a pause as the two men stared at each other, each trying to gauge the others strength like a lion picking its prey from a herd of buffalo.

“CUTE!!!!!!!!!!” Random and Anras both jumped, and turned to see Adelphia and Shazi hugging three of the minions. “I love these guys... can I keep them?” Shazi asked. Random and Anras both sighed “Well... at least Oblivia’s not like that.” He thought to himself, looking over to her. She was sat there, petting one of the minions on the head. Anras and random both glanced back at each other and shrugged. “Women...” they both muttered at the same time.

“So... what is it you wanted that couldn’t be discussed over the phone?” Random asked sarcastically. “Lets just say I prefer to do business face to face” Anras replied, though the truth of the matter was that his phone line had been cut from his volcano base after he was unable to pay last months bill.

Anras picked Random’s chair back up and sat down in it, arms crossed. “I want to know why I was left off the list of the fighters, simple, no?” Anras said, smugly. Random was stunned. “You’ve wrecked my office, and are holding my competitors hostage just for that!?” he yelled, clenching his fist in anger. “Ahh, yes, that reminds me...” Anras clicked his fingers, and a couple more minions appeared through the broken window, carrying a body bag, covered in blood. Random’s face paled, and he could hear the porter being sick behind him.

He turned around, looking at the faces of the fighters. He could see some of them had small cuts from the glass, and some were struggling to cope with the scene. “Fine... I’ll discuss everything with you, but on one condition, you let the everyone else go.” He said sternly. At the very least, they’d be kept out of anything that developed in case. “And if I refuse?” Anras asked, knowing he had the upper hand. “Then this contest is gonna kick off a hell of a lot sooner than I planned.” Random answered, clicking his fingers. Oblivia jumped up, sending the minion she was petting flying, knocking several others down during its flight, before sliding down the wall.

Sothe saw his opportunity and followed suit, flooring a couple of minions, before kicking another away from Reishin. Razor punched a minion out of the broken window, and made a lunge for several others “Let’s get this party started!” he yelled, and a battle royale erupted.

Kametsu Kombat – Chapter 9 – The price of losing:

The battle was intense, although small, the minions were skilled, and had numbers on their side too. Anras and Random were locked in combat with one another, while everyone else was busy trying to deal with the minions.

Well... I say everyone; however, Shazi and Adelphia were sat in the corner of the room, hugging the minions tightly. “They’re too cute to attack!” Shazi thought, blushing. Kakashi jumped over to them. “You girls gonna help us or what?” he asked. Adelphia put her finger to her chin, thought for a second, and said. “uhh... no”, before breaking out into fits of laughter with Shazi and the minions they were holding joining in too.

Kakashi sighed. “Fine” he muttered, before jumping back into the fray. Krogoth was desperately trying to get to Anras. He had more experience in fighting him, and new how the guy thought. However, the minions were keeping him at bay.

Random dodged a kick from Anras, before landing a punch into his gut that sent him almost out the window. “Damn... this guy’s got some moves.” Anras thought to himself, before rushing back for another round.

Razor, meanwhile, was having the time of his life. “C’mon! My morning exercises are tougher than this!” he yelled. A few seconds later, he was knocked back by five minions who’d launched a jump kick at the same time. “This is what I’m talking about!” he yelled, before he proceeded to pummel the life out of them.

Shade stood by the sidelines and sighed. Only parrying when an attack came his way. “I’m getting fed up with this.” He muttered, before hitting the security alarm on the wall. “Time to get going.” He thought, before disappearing from the room.

As the alarm rang out, everyone stopped fighting. Sothe was buried under several minions who had somehow managed to disarm him, and Reishin was an inch from punching a minion straight in the face. “Fire?” Anras asked. “Possibly... there isn’t a drill scheduled for today.”

Just then, a load of security officers entered the room through the broken window, and aimed their guns. Anras spun around. “Damnit!” he thought. “He just HAD to have his own security force didn’t he”

Random chuckled. “Sorry Anras, but this is our win.” He said with a grin. He looked over at the captain of the security forces. “Have your men take the little yellow things down to the holding cells, then get the fighters to the medical centre for a check over.” He looked down at the blood soaked body bag. “And you better take him with you.”

“What about this guy?” the captain asked, poking Anras with his rifle. “Leave him with me and Oblivia, we’re gonna discuss how he’s going pay for all the damages he’s caused today.” Anras sighed, and looked over at Oblivia, and saw her sword covered in blood, with several dead minions by her feet. He gulped. “Maybe this wasn’t the best idea after all...”
