What Do You Like About Anime?

Most of us here like anime, but I wanna know...what is it about anime that you like about it? For me, I like anime because it's more realistic than cartoons and the human characters look more realer. Plus, it's more dramatic and less childish. Not to mention, it just grows on you, ya know.

Anime seems to have more plot than a lot of shows out there. There's more character building, and lots of action that can keep you at the edge of your seat.

anime ... good plot, good animation (in comparison to cartoons), it's more "adultish" and if you watch the non-americanized ones (pre-editing / dubbing), u can actually see blood!

...well most of the time they edit it out. lol~

yeah i dunno .. i guess it has the ability to draw me in to visit a make-believe world where anything is possible (liek ga mes =D)

I like the drawing style, it enhances human characteristics and does not reflect any particular trait of cartoons. Without Anime many people would be lost...but i say that because i love it and draw it...What dont you love about this:

I think its the action that really catches me, and how everything can be flawless.

I love anime because you can connect with the characters and feel how they feel, the art is more realistic, the plot is more for set to older people and not for children (even thought there is some children animes), and that anime has hit some ideas cartoons have.

I like anime because they have nice stories, usually really good artwork, and it's more vibrant than live-shows.

Cartoons are just random episodes that don't link together and usually rather retarded.. lol

The story.

It can suck of course but if the story is good I don't much care for the fighting and what not.

The deep plotlines, over-the-top action, and the psychological aspects of it. Of course, it's rare that all of these things are together. That's why I like Chaos;Head so much.

i find that i can connect with the charcters alot more in anime than with t,v shows and stuff ..as they are speicfficly desgined 2 be a certin way .. not all actors cab convey the emotion that is needed for there part

What I love most about anime is that while the characters are real and deep and you can connect to them and feel like the stories are true, there is still that freedom to do things that are impossible. Because it is animated, rules of physics need not apply and it becomes that get away from the real world. And yet, with the freedom to do anything, there is still that realism. Anime is my escape!

I Like how it brings out my emotions when i Watch it, unlike American Cartoons when you watch them its easily predictable and not funny at times and kinda boring.

For me anime is a release from the stresses and negativity of the world.

Anime stories have a real side to them but also have a happy ending, without it being a dull hollywood ending. Also I love to admire the quality of the drawings, characteristics of the characters and the soundtracks, anime just has something that nothing else has.

They are fun, exciting, good plot lines & The newer ones (also remasters) have super graphics. Graphics in anime are always getting better,live action is live action, it doesnt get better than what you get, but anime gets better & better.

I like anime for the fluid animation (most of the time) and the wide variety of story line and plots. I got into anime when i was starting to loose my faith in north American television and it's lack of shows i found interesting. Since then i have found a few shows i like. But i like anime because of the often quirky characters and sometimes even quirkier story lines.

anime can put god like fight scenes and make them look like a beast like bleach ichigo vs izan and normal movies arnt up to scratch yet

I like getting into the plot and getting to know all of the different types of characters. The feeling I get from anime is different from anything else I watch.
