Which genres would you prefer?

Shonen and Harem are my favs. Not neccessarily in that order. But my favorite series tends to be Gurren or Bebop. Tigun was great as well. But another good anime I enjoyed was Rune Soldier. Had comedy, crazy powers, and the harem thing going on. Good stuff.

Always been a big fan of a futuristic series but i enjoy comedies and something that requires thinking from time to time

Comedy (Almost a must now, if done well)

Slice of life (Easy to do, but really hard to make compelling)

Action (Doesn't need to be a shows reason to live but a little violence helps)

Ecchi (Is this a zombie, Campione and Highscool of the dead, show that ecchi can provide more than the obvious)

Romance (Not always a concern, but if done well I can easily get caught up.)

Adventure (Gets put under the same blanket as, powers, supernatural, mecha and magic for me, at this point what anime doesn't have a bit of each of those in them)

 

I used to like really serous anime, but I realized that I really just prefer having a laugh. School Rumble is a great example for me, I don't think I have seen an anime that has made me laugh as much as that show did. It probably helps that I can identify with some of the stupider things that can occur when we like someone.

I was raised by my momma and influenced by an older sister.  Pretty much got Romance/Slice of life in my SOUL...Though bad-ass content still tickles my testosterone

If something can make me laugh, make me cry, build a good world, and have amazing characters, it's perfect.
