"Destiny" the new Bungie/Activision creation

A new game that I and lot's of people have high hopes as it's a Bungie brand new baby that will appear on PS4 and Xbone in 2014 published by Activision.

Here is the demo from E3 Sony Conference, I am sure most of you all saw it but just in case.

Is it really going to be an open world online massive fps?

I would like to hear what do you think about it, on what console would you prefer to play it and stuff like that :P

to be honest it looks utterly uninspired, generic and boring. In an age dominated by action fps shooters you have to be truly original, not just re-skin halo. But I have no doubt that it will sell by the tonne.

I never was much of a halo fan:D so perhaps I am being a bit harsh.

I agree that most of this stuff is a bit what you see in most fantasy fps, but you and I know that Bungie created a great franchise that will be remembered in history of gaming, so you have got to give a little bit of credit to their new creation :P

Talking about sells, they discribed Destiny as MMO, so yeah, I am hoping for a lot of players to visit the place of Bungie imagination.

I love the seamless Single to multiplayer swap... With that, you could literally call for backup....

You're at a hard spot in the game, pinned down, running low on ammo, call your buddy on the phone and be all "Hey! Get in the game! I'm pinned down over here."

And then they log in and help you kill everything! ^_^ Much better than having to start the level over.

Here's my thoughts on when i first saw it -

It's Borderlands with better graphics. MUCH better graphics. NEXT GEN level graphics.

Here's my thoughts on why it'll probably be a good game -

It's a shooter.

Bungie's making it.

Bungie makes fucking awesome shooters.

Just add in that epic piece of soundtrack that makes you feel like a bad-ass that can take on everything in the world and you can officially take my soul.

How many games have attempted this and failed?

Also, I think the halo games are a poor franchise except for the big set pieces and the music gets going:D Otherwise it just felt too removed from the person playing it. The guns all felt the same, MC is utterly insipid, the canon is for the most part terrible, and most importantly I SUCKED at the multiplayer:(

and whoever gave the greenlight for Halo:ODST needs to be taken out back and put to the wall.

p.s I have a little brother who loves halo, hence why I have played most of them (in co-op). I'm not some glutton for punishment who keeps buying a franchise I dislike.

Many have failed but maybe it's time for one to finally succeed and yes we can clearly see you loathe Halo games, good work!
