Calling All Steam Users!

Well, I suppose some of the regulars remember a good while back that I started up an XBL and PSN group to try and get to play with kametsu members online. But I never got around to doing a proper group page for steam.

But it seems Nero (iki) has beaten me to the pulp. So, for any and all that fancy playing with your fellow Kametsu members then post your Steam ID here and one of the members will invite you into the group! Please be patient however, as someone might not notice your post unitl a few days...

Post in a simple format guys, something along these lines

SteamID: (whatever your ID is)

Timezone: GMT +/-

PS. if an admin could sticky this it'd be awesome! ^.^

PPS. if anyone would like to do a graphic for the group avatar that'd be grand, but we'll probably be doing a request in the graphic section so stay tuned!

Lol dw I do the same, I mostly log in say hello to some people and then disappear, I mostly only play Arma lately for the zombie mod too, although i love l4d

Well I'm rarely on Steam. In fact I rarely even play games these days.. Didn't buy any during the massive Steam sale either.

All I have on Steam is Star Trek Online (cause Ren made me check it out), Dues Ex Revolution and Dirt 3 because I got coupons to get them for free with the AMD parts I bought for my PC I built earlier this year.

There's a bunch of stuff we can play for free on Steam. Most F2P's get integrated into Steam really quick and they range all the way from MMORPG's to FPS to RTS. Here's some good ones I know of that are completely F2P and the only advantages of paying are some experience boosts and cosmetics -

FPS - Blacklight Retribution, Team Fortress 2, Super Monday Night Combat (Also 3PS)

MMO - D&D Online, Age of Empires Online, Lord of the Rings Online, Realm of the Mad God, Rusty Hearts and a shitload of other stuff.

If one of the members finds something thats superbly interesting in the MMO category, they can let other players know about it and we can party and stuff. Realm of the Mad God is less than 100 MB, if i remember correctly.

As to the F2P, I don't mind TF2 and the likes. But I've got loads of strategy games id love to plan with folks, but no one has them. I'll have a rake through the F2P games and try them out however.

Only other game I can think of is half life and its mods....anyone play them?

well, I bought the entire Half Life package at a discount of 75% but haven't given them all a shot yet except for Half Life: Source, Blue Shift and Opposing Force.

Also, let's not forget Dota 2. I get regular beta keys sent from servers and other places so if members want any, gimme a holler and if i have any spare ones at the moment, I'll send em to you.

I have in the past played a range of Half Life mods, raging from the mod 'The Specialist' to Mods like DBZ ESF, NNK (Naruto Naiteki Kensei). I also to play strategy games but have yet to really buy any on steam. The reason I haven't is because time to play games isn't always a thing on my side.
