Hi, I would like an anime that is no older then 2005 in orginal jap version but prefer newer animes and i want it to be a english anime (dubbed). I have found these few shows have been really funny and would like something very similar.

Well, here are my suggestions:

1. Hayate the Combat Butler(both seasons)

2. My bride is a mermaid

3. Beelzebub

4. Mayo Chiki

5. To Love Ru

6. Shuffle

Though some of them aren't dubbed yet, you should still watch them. They are very funny. And regarding an Anime similar to Kenichi, well I've been searching for it myself coz Kenichi is one of my most favorite Animes. But if you haven't read the Kenichi manga yet, I highly recommend it. The Anime didn't even complete 10% story compared to the ongoing manga. I have recommended this manga to some close friends and all of them thought it was amazing.

True, Welcome to the NHK is the best comedy anime i know. And it entertains without any harem cliche crap!

Bludgeoning angel dokuro chan is funny, but warning it's very graphic. Law of Ueki is like Kenichi (which I have in my top 25) so I think you'll really like it. You should really try Magikano though it's like 2002-3ish, the dub was just too ridiculously funny.

Oh man, I love Ghost Stories haha. Such a funny dub. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Azumanga Daioh, Crayon Shin Chan, or Keroro Gunsou / Sgt. Frog yet. I love all those shows. And they are all hilarious imo too.
