Alexisonfires Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 Resident Evil use to scare me as an child (6 years old) but now I'm 18 and I've actually recently played some of the older RE games 1, 2, and 3 and those didn't scare me one bit, the only times that scared me was the thought of running out of bullets haha! urmm Dead Space isn't really scary, its more of an game that makes you jump from time to time, after beating both Dead Space games, you don't really feel scared anymore since you know where most of the jump parts are :/ The only game that still scares and creeps me out is Silent Hill >_< Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

shaqsalazar Posted February 4, 2012 Report Share Posted February 4, 2012 ill say dead space one and two but, dead space 2 had the most effect over me....its was more scarier and messed up than dead space one....got a couple of nightmares.... because i did play it all the time in a pitch black room with a 5.1 HD surround system...yea....i over done it.....but its so worth it playing in that setting makes it feel so much more real....hearing the monsters screaming from behind you(have a speaker in each corner of the room so hearing the monsters from behind me or the side of me makes so much more thrilling) i die most of the time in game for looking behind me instead killing the monster can never really get use to it....and i always play at high volume....for the 2 weeks i had dead space i couldnt sleep in dark all tht while keep seeing things....any way dead space is the best scariest game i ever played.....especial with a HD surround sound set up epic....oh dont forget to play in dark alone Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I played them in the dark though where games like those are 23987423987 times more scary :/ I'm sure I can get through em in the daylight but ahhhhhh... It was fricken epic though.The movie was also freaky, but the one thing that really scared me about everything was those sirens!When the sirens ring and the monsters come looking for people, that creeped me out.
