Seriously not trying to troll, just out of curiosity, anyone else here find Aizen a terrible villian after the SS arc? I find his fights extremely predictable, and I basically find him just trolling his manga, just curios what this board thinks.

His fights seem predictable since he is soooo cocky and thinks he is sooo powerful

I doubt he'll get bankai especially since he hasn't even learned his shikai by this point also him not knowing his sword is part of his character. Though him using two hands is basically a bankai considering how much power a swing has with both hands. Would find it funny though if his sword shikai or bankai was kidou based considering he hates any weapon based on it, be his sword getting back at him for not trying to learn its name for so long.

wellllll, Koby, our administrator hates it, calling it a cheap rip-off of YuYuHakusho.

i on the other hand consider it on my top 5 anime :D

it's good enough to watch, is my opinion. what sets off the mood about it is the enormous amount of fillers in it. currently, on hiatus, the dubs are set to return sometime at the end of this month, probably.

hope this helps

They actually got an okay to do it? I thought Kubo would never agree to it, hell he said in an interview that he made Bleach specifically because he thought it made it impossible to make a live action version of it. He never wanted it to happen. Why change now? I just hope it's a rumor because I honestly don't want to see the live action if Warner does it. *shudders*

The show has only shown the Japanese version of Soul Society. All of the shinigami's zanpakuto look like katanas and they wear old school Japanese clothes. Is there a part of Soul Society with caucasian people, or black people, or any other race? Does the show suggest that only Japanese people have souls therefore only they get to pass on to the afterlife? Assuming there is another part of Soul Society containing the different races, what do there shinigami and zanpakutos look like? Please share your opinions on this.

It's cultural, Tite Kubo (the creator of Bleach) is Japanesse, thus he would use Japanesse Cultural references. It's the same in western culture, a western show with an afterlife will use western ideas of the afterlife for example, if I were to imagine a figure of Death, it would be a cloaked firgure with no legs and bone hands carrying a sythe. Tite Kubo on the other hand wanted to draw a Shinigami (literaly Death God) in a kimono, so he drew Rukia.(ref:http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Rukia see trivia) I'm pretty sure I didn't describe Rukia when I said what a figure of death was to me. To end my point I'll just say what is entire rant was about, it just has tto do with culture (presisly the culture of the creatorL Tite Kubo.)

If you watch closely there are quite a few races represented by their "token" people. One of the Generals (the blind one) who turned to the A'Ronkars was African American. Chad is Hispanic. Yoruichi is very dark skined when in her human form. (Please no offence to any one!!!)

One of the other major Shinigami Ranks of the Soal Society is a "Racoon Dog / Fox thingy" lol.

If you listen to the english versions of the anime or read the manga closely you hear or read the accents among the people. This does show a mix, but SoheNExus is right in the way artests do depict their idea of how thing are, reflecting their caulture & ideas of life.
