whats your favorite psychological thriller anime?

whats your favorite "psychological-thriller" anime?

mine are: Death Note, Stein;gate, Erased.

looking for something similar, with good story!

Haven't seen Stein;gate but I hear it's supposed to be one of the best animes around. Death Note was phenomenal. Pyscho-Pass and Ghost in the Shell are excellent. Akira too one of my all time favorites

Wasn't too sure about what qualifies so I used MAL. From the series that are tagged as Psychological and Thriller, I would pick Re:Zero, Death Parade, and Terror in Resonance. As these are literally the only ones I have seen and enjoyed. I saw Paprika as well but did not like it.

The finale of Evangelion was as psychological as it can get in my opinion. It was just so mind boggling.

Zankyou no Terror and Psycho-pass are my favourites. I really recommend those!

Does cowboy Bebop come under a psychological thriller ? In that case that is my favorite one

Monster is the GOAT in this genre imo. It's as good as a serious thriller can get in anime form. The writing,atmosphere and theme exploration are sublime and the the main villain is legitimately TERRIFYING.

Monster .... there is no anime out there as of this moment that comes close to its maturity and terrifying and creep level.

You'll have to look at Hollywood or TV cable that comes anything close to Monster.
