  1. At the Code Geass 10th anniversary event on Sunday, a sequel to Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch has been announced. It will be titled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Revival) and is set 3 years after the ending of R2. No news on what the plot will be or when it will air but it's clear that Lelouch will be involved, something that answers a lot of fan questions about R2's ending. Personally, I am very excited, although I'm also wary. As a CG fanboy, I'm delighted we're finally getting more of the story but I am also worried that it could ruin what was a pretty great ending. What do you guys think? Comment below! In addition, a three-part compilation film series of the previous Code Geass anime has been planned for January 2017. The voices will be redubbed for the movies, which will also include new scenes. Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch is an original anime series produced by Sunrise, directed by Gorou Taniguchi with original character designs by manga artist group CLAMP, which aired in 25 episodes between October 2006 and July 2007. A sequel titled Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 was subsequently developed due to the immense popularity of the first season, also airing in 25 episodes between April 2008 and September 2008. An OVA Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland was released in July 2012. A spin-off movie series titled Boukoku no Akito was announced in April 2010, which screened in 5 parts from July 2012 to February 2016. The series was initially licensed by Bandai Entertainment for North American distribution before FUNimation re-licensed it in August 2013.
  2. As a massive fan of Prohibition era and gangster drama, I'm incredibly excited for this show. I'm an episode behind but I've enjoyed it so far, though it is a bit confusing to keep track of the large cast of characters. I'm hoping it gathers pace once everything is properly introduced.
  3. Since I'm a Berserk fan, I really want to give this a try. Its received a lot of hate on the internet, mostly because of animation, so it's difficult to judge how good it is. Also, I kinda avoided reading everyone's comments so I don't get spoiled xD. Anyway, would you guys recommend? I can deal with poor/dodgy art, I'm more concerned with whether it lives up to the Berserk name in terms of storytelling.
  4. Personally, I actually liked that Subaru rejected Rem straight away. It's something he'd do and its in keeping with his character. She was incredibly honest with him and he replied with equal sincerity. Its the part of him that Rem clearly loves and I think that if he'd avoided answering her confession then it would've upset her even more. With that out of the way I'm hoping we finally start moving past Subaru's weakness. I really enjoy the show but I feel as if they've been dragging out the 'Subaru is useless and needs to accept it' storyline for far too long. Still probably one of the best shows of the year however!
  5. Hi pawslaw, nice to meet you! Call me Raz!
  6. The only issue I have is that Subaru can be over the top, a bit too much. I like him but its a bit much. Apart from that, I'm pretty impressed. There's not been much great anime for me lately.
  7. Do you think so? I've heard good things about Kabaneri and Boku no Hero. Not watched them mind. Im really looking forward to this arc with Felt, really liked her character before. I agree on the characters. I actually want Subaru to get with Rem over Emilia haha. I've got my eye on the Knight. He's suspicious
  8. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- aka Re:ZERO kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu MAL Synopsis When Subaru Natsuki leaves the convenience store, the last thing he expects is to be wrenched from his everyday life and dropped into a fantasy world. Things aren't looking good for the bewildered teenager, however: not long after his arrival, he is attacked by some thugs; armed with only a bag of groceries and a now useless cell phone, he is quickly beaten to a pulp. Fortunately, a mysterious beauty named Satella, in hot pursuit after the one who stole her insignia, happens upon Subaru and saves him. In order to thank the honest and kindhearted girl, Subaru offers to help in her search, and later that night, he even finds the whereabouts of that which she seeks. But unbeknownst to them, a much darker force stalks the pair from the shadows, and just minutes after locating the insignia, Subaru and Satella are brutally murdered. However, Subaru immediately reawakens to a familiar scene—confronted by the same group of thugs, meeting Satella all over again—the enigma deepens as history inexplicably repeats itself. Hi guys, just wondering if anyone is watching ReZero? It's my favourite anime of the season and really feels like a throwback to 2006/7 in terms of pacing, episode length and general quality. Thoughts?
  9. That looks awesome! Definitely excited for this

  11. the sacrifices we must make for Yoko. As for me, home made grilled chicken. Good times
  12. Hmm to be honest, I hadn't picked up that it was going the anime only route. The plot still seems coherent and the story hasnt slowed down or anything. I still enjoy it so I hope it carries on this way. Am I the only one who sees an Esdeath turn? xD
  13. Agree on Bahamut no Genesis, it's really good, reminds me a bit of Cowboy Bebop, bounty hunters are cool haha. Madan No Ou is a definite sleeper, barely anybody seems to be watching it. On that note, Akatsuki no Yona is a definite sleeper, throwback to Twelve Kingdoms type show with fantasy, politics, war etc, very good show, recommend it to all. And I have to confess, I disliked Gundam, actually only watched 1 episode. Oh and guilty pleasure of the season is Cross Ange. Ecchi and Mobile suits and dragons. Mindless fun xD
  14. I was literally about to post to say this exact thing. Shigatsu is amazing, highlight of the season for me so far. Kiseijuu is also awesome. Shingeki no Bahamut no Genesis and Madan no Ou to Vanadis are both good shows too.
