I also heard that there's a chance that they might end the season on a cliffhanger and continue the story in a full length feature film,

If they really plan on taking it that far, then it's safe to assume the show's coming to an end. I very much doubt that they might end the movie on a cliffhanger....lol and continue season 5!! But then again....

According to AMC, "Season 4 of The Walking Dead returns in October of this year." Presumably around Halloween, like they've done in the past.

Which is epiiiiic! Can't wait for it to come out, I wanna know what's happened so far and how much of a gap they'll give us this time, since before it had them running around all winter an all that then they found the prison so I hope they'll do like a few months timeskip this time around too.

All seasons of The Walking Dead premier in October of each year, so that was a given.

Honestly though, The Walking Dead has been a bit iffy for me. Loved the first season; it was great, the action was great, the story was great, the kills were more realistic, etc.. Since then it's pretty much been more drama than zombies and when there is actually some zombies around, they pose no threat and are easily taken out with a single swing of whatever someone is holding as if all zombies are made of putty. Seriously.. where is the skulls in these zombies heads? Don't tell me they decayed because that takes years upon years and some of the zombies were just turned seconds before being squashed.

Season 2 was about farm life paradise. Season 3 was about beef with the Governor. Lets get back to the zombies. Make them actually seem like a threat. Give us more action and less drama. I think it was better when the group was on the run rather than staying in one place. The show seems to slow down and go no where when they stick to one place too long. That was the problem with Season 2, nothing really happened... it took them 3/4's of the season searching for a little girl only to realize she was dead and right under their nose the whole time.

Season 3 was a huge let down because they built up all this suspension about the final showdown between the two groups only for it to end so anti-climatic without any sort of real showdown. It should have went out with a blaze instead someone poured water on the fuse before it blew. Honestly the whole thing with the Governor may have worked better the way it ended if it had ended sooner. A whole season just for that sort of ending to the feud was just.... boring.

I have to agree the zombies don't even seem to pose a threat to them anymore, even a huge mob they seem to be pretty meh to which is honestly stupid considering it's a show about zombies.

I honestly don't have that big of a problem with this. I do wish there was more zombie killing and less drama, but I figure if you have to do something constantly for two or more years, you'd become a pro. The zombies really aren't all that fast so it would really come down to strategy, and that's something you'd learn with practice.

They got a fresh batch of red shirts at the end of last season, so we should see some more dying this fall.

TBH this finale didn't excite me like the previous one did...it didn't really packed any punch it in ...may be showing some clips of a lab somewhere whipping up a cure would had made my interest peak .!!

i just hope season 4 would be a little more interesting and on topic !!

In an interview they stated AMC would like the show to still be airing in 2022.. -_- That'd be 13 seasons of TWD.

Also apparently Hyundai has paid a bunch of money for advertising and even put stipulations on the show. So their nice green Hyundai will never be damaged, never have blood smeared on it, never be dirty, etc.. and most future cars will be Hyundai's.

Just saw an interview with Robert Kirkman, and he said in the fourth season that nature will become a new enemy to the survivors. Wonder what that means. He also said there will be a lot of zombies this season as well, so hopefully the death toll will rise.

Maybe when they say nature they mean like the weather, because I know they said winter was horrible for them so maybe a blistering summer or something, idk but I cant wait to find out!

Does anyone know which state their in right now?(could be related to the nature becomes their enemy thing) It's been awhile so I don't remember. I hope AMC does a marathon of all the episodes before season 4 begins.

I remember they did a marathon a few months ago and before s3 they did one too for people to catch up to it

I found the first season great, but after that it slowed down to a terrible pace. That might be because I had already read the comics and knew what to expect. They are only on like comic #30 or something like that (of #110 so far...).

Though by looking at the 4th season trailer it looks like they are taking it in a different direction than the comic so it might get more enjoyable for me.
