Well for anime i always use VLC, its just easier that way for me. For actuall music i use zune or Winamp

vlc doesnt depend on other codec packs

no i actually use windows media player (i like how it looks nice and clean) with the cccp codec pack.

Because the world is filled with idiots and every time one of them grows a brain they switch to something better.

Iki knows about half the hell we go through on a daily basis giving tech support because of problems with idiots using VLC and the simple solution we give them is to switch and voila it solves their problems everytime.

VLC is broken, It's the Internet Explorer of video players, it gives inferior playback, and the video quality is diminished with it's use of outdated and broken codecs.

Pretty much every single player in the poll is a better choice.

media player classic home cinema i use it for everything no need for other codecs it has them all its played EVERYTHING ive ever put it through and all without any issues whatsoever

You know I always have used VLC, but after looking at the pool I felt retarded for not trying other media players. So I tried MPC and I noticed a huge playback difference on my 1080p videos. I can't believe I was missing out all this time.

Media Player Classic, I only recently have installed it to watch mkv playback, works fine and will probably set it as my default player.
