Forestechoes Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 I thourght i'd give my opinion here,I'll say it straight it's a 10/10 whether your watching japanese or Funimation i have at this point watched 507 (jap it will be 508 later today) and 205 in english, the show takes a little while to become epic but once the scope of this world shows itself to you, your in awe of it. Shadowpuppy132 Posted August 13, 2011 Report Share Posted August 13, 2011 I, as a child, watched One Piece on Toonami. I watched the 4kids dub and tought WOAH! THIS IS A VERY GOOD ANIME. IT'S DUB IS PERFECT. Then I grew up and I perferred the funimation dub instead. Catwoman Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 My first thoughts on One Piece was that the style it was created in wasn't one you see in everyday anime. Which actually interested me to find out more about the series. As I read the manga, I found it to be funny and touching at the same time. It was different and still is in my honest opinion. It is kind of daunting knowing how big and long the series is (and still going, of course). But after starting it, I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed. It actually has good pacing and great character development. I guess I should have realized that there is a reason it is so popular and has been running for so long.
