well, there is news about the author(yoshihiro togashi) retiring in doing his mangas BUT, he will be hiring a group of mangakas to finish his works and he(yoshihiro togashi) will be advising/guiding them with the storyline.

 

so once they start, there will be liitle to no hiatus anymore unless yoshihiro dies

Looks like that plan is cancelled, yay! I would rather wait until he recovers too otherwise it won't be the same.

Hunter x Hunter 2011, was a fantastic show, ended up watching the last arc weekly which kinda killed the hype for me personally as it was rather slow progress, however it was a fantastic story with awesome characters and a must watch when you have the time

I've been watching the Hunter X Hunter 2011 dub, they're on episode 32 now and I can't wait for more. The animation is very good and I think they did a pretty good job picking the voices for the characters. Definitely recommend the Dub if you're into them.

The remake was good to finish off the story. Although I understand why they speed through the arcs in the beginning, the speed of the each arc varies too much.
