Well, except for maybe Grandia and suikoden. Both good but not quite my favorites. My top 3 favourite RPG series though are of course, Final Fantasy, Breath Of Fire, and I'd say the Tales series. tiddybear Posted August 6, 2007 Report Share Posted August 6, 2007 Xenosaga was a big favorite of mine, but it ended so that wore off. When it was around though it was definitely my favorite, by far - enough to make my own website about it, which is still around today despite the fact the last part in the series was released already. Sometimes it felt the game should have been a book not a game. I'm also a fan of the Shadow Hearts series. I would say FF is another favorite but I just feel like there's some weak games in it even though as a whole it's a good series. KH and VP are up there too but not quite my favorites.Someone said the XS's were horrible but XS > XG imho... I still love XG a lot though. The series is like a continuing story with some of the same and new characters in each game. CLEARLY it's the Tales games!Don't get me wrong, I love me some Zelda, and more often than not I love the FF games.... (especially #7 on the pc, the first I ever played as a kid!) but the Tales series is great, I never had the change to try the early ones (playstation variety) but I've gotten all the newer ones! Even bought Tales of Vesperia twice because we scratched the first disc! Never realized how hard it was to find out of production games for a decent price!
