Anime or Manga?

Love Anime but manga is always better.

Best example would be things like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (manga) Vs Tsubasa Chronicle (anime), they pretty much killed it when they came to make a anime, they changed the order of arcs, it had disgustingly stupid filler. But worst of all is that they made everyone think that it was a childrens anime, when later in the manga things become quite adult and the anime just couldn't support that.

Also you can get along with more in manga, like in Hitman reborn when Yamamoto wants to kill himself and is about to jump off of a building, and becomes friends with Tsuna he is convinced to live. That didn't happen in the anime and confused me, as Tsuna says he has no friends then ends up suddenly friends with Yamamoto, by cutting that out it just confused everything.

Also in manga you don't get annoying filler like in anime.

Yeah, most anime have great OSTs, so, in my opinion, anime is better. What else are you going to fill your iPod with other than music? ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

Ahh thats true, I have more Anime music on my MP3 than just regular music.

Soundtracks on most anime's are beautiful, One Piece (Great anime) and Tsubasa Chronicle(Even though I dislike the anime) have amazing OST's.

Manga is definitley more detailed, and more vivid when it comes to the story. But I enjoy the qualities of anime, movement, voices, animation, mainly everything seems enjoyable if it's a good anime, of course. Berserk.

For me it's anime, mainly cause I can't get my hands on any manga since they don't sell them here... and reading them of the PC screen is not quite the same. I have some manga Captain Tsubasa it's a really old issue, maybe 7-8 years old

The only manga I actually own is Azumanga Daioh, vol. 2. It's hard to get the stuff in Perth and I too hate reading it off a computer screen; it's not as enjoyable as having it in your hands.

I like both, but if I have a choice between manga and anime, I would choose manga. I like to have things going at the pace I want them to be.

Anime is more enjoyable to watch, personally.

But they cut some cool stuff out, sometimes. Especially in the English versions of anime.

I like both but manga is faster and anime is slower. But, manga is not that great when compared to anime as anime has so freaking good music and action scenes all animated lol T_T So, I have to go with anime but still manga can be great only cuz it's fast lolz T_T I am confused. TT_TT

i like anime, i don't usually read. except on the computer. so i like anime better, in fact i only read one manga and mostly the only time i read manga is when i am on a car ride. Maybe i will read manga one day on my front porch.

Well, when I read the manga of naruto where Jiraya and pain are fighting, it looked ok. But, when I saw it in the anime it was looking so great XD for naruto I think anime is better xD

I say Anime, it has more of the action than the manga. But I can't WATCH anime in my class at school, so sneaking a manga book in that situation works better ^^

I don't know which to pick, sometimes both are good, sometimes the Manga is better than the Anime adaptation....but usually its the Manga version that gives birth to the Anime version.

anime normally but somtimes the manga of a series is better

lik for instance death note anime i didnt lik so much whereas the manga i loved but it waz a bit long winded lol

Go anime! ^.^ I've started a while ago reading Naruto manga from the beginning, just to compare those two, and, I dunno, anime is far better than manga in my opinion. The only bad side of anime is those damn fillers.

I like both... I like anime becuase I usually don't feel like reading, and I like just sitting back and watching. I like manga because there is stuff in the manga that sometimes isn't in the anime. I voted for anime though.

Manga is better. It goes more in depth with the story, and usually when the anime is not doing too well with being animated by the crew the arts really sketchy during the fights. But for manga in the most part it stays the same.

Plus I really really hate filler arcs.

I agree the only reason I really enjoy anime and manga is because it's different than the often restricted world that america seems to stay in. When I watch an anime after reading the anime I feel restricted again after not seeing the same depth and detail the manga goes to.

i'd say manga cause it allows us to read it at our own pace.

plus, it doesn't involve any dreadful fillers.

I prefer reading manga because my imagination tends to do it much more justice than the anime does. most of the time its just disappointing when they change things in the transition.
