It could because of the face they make 90% of the time, and the fact they have the same sweet tooth.

 

Look alike is Luke from Majin Bone, and Sakata Gintoki from Gintama

Wow, that is the quintessence of character resemblance. Naruto's shadow clones look exactly like Naruto.

Speed almost looks like a female in that pic.

 

Arata and Tachibana look like relatives.

 

The last batch look like a group of brothers. Almost like an anime version of the Double Dragons

That's because that kind of look was intended for Speed, and even brought up by characters in the manga.

Just finished a Binge weekend of DBZ Kai and the last 5 DBZ Movies and i've been wondering this for a while,

From a quick Wiki search i did notice that the same artist worked on the Chrono project and the DBZ project so i can see the influence in the work and design, but i was wondering if there was any deeper connection between Chrono and Tapion?
