[Anime] Looking for a fun anime to watch

Hey guys. I recently finished watching Daphne and the Briliant Blue, so i need something similar. In other words, a mix between comedy and - sci-fi, fantasy or actoin. Other good suggestions are:

Slayers, Those Who Hunt Elves, Outlaw Star, Rune Soldier ...

Please avoid romantic, school themed, or "endless" ( Fairy Tail, One peace ... ) animes. And finaly, the anime must be english dubbed.

Sorry if I give you a hard time and thank you for your suggestions.

Duarara!! and Lucky Star, as well as The M. of Haruhi Suzumiya are my top recommendations. They're a good length, and I enjoyed them too

Thanks for your suggestions guys, but as i mentioned in the op - i like to avoid school/romance themed comedies. I've seen most of the animes you mentioned. Actually all of them except 2, but they don't peek my interest. ( school-themed ). Sorry for been so picky.

Plenty of comedy and sci fi based action in that I would say!! Nothing to do with school themes, and isnt really romantic either.

Its kinda short, and is 12 episodes but its worth it I would say.

Good series, but i've already seen The Sacred Blacksmith. I have watched many anime shows over the years actually, so i guess i am a tough customer.

Well I have no list of what you have already seen so Ill just suggest more than one then.

Samurai Girls - This had a decent amount of comedy in it and no school theme. Theres a part where 2 of the girls argue over this guy but I hardly find it romantic. Its got a decent amount of action in it too.

The Mightiest Disciple Kenichi - This has plenty of comedy if you like someone who seems like a clumbsy wimp and makes it funny and then turns into a somewhat badass in times of need. If you consider being taught martial arts by a bunch of different teachers school themed then I guess skip this one. Not romantic at all to my knowledge. This should have alot of fighting and action in it as well.

Elemental Gelade - This also had a decent amount of comedy, youll probly get a nice laugh once in a while and alot of sci fi action in it. Pretty good story too, I enjoyed it.

Trigun - I find the main character pretty funny alot of the time, perhaps you will as well. Theres plenty of action in it, no school themes or romance.

DNAngel - I got a nice laugh out of this once in a while and the story was pretty good to me too. There certainly is alot of fantasy and sci fi action in it but no killing that I can remember so nothing too hard core. Its hardly school themed at all but the main character does go to school in the series. I wouldnt say its romantic either but they do make it obvious the main character has a crush on this one girl once in a while.

The last anime I watched was Haruhi Suzumiya and the movie also. I think it was a great anime I even cried at some point... Watch it for sure.

Casshern Sins // if you want to be confused and depressed the entire story.

kiss x sis // blood pressure is increasing and so are other things

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt // funny and bad in the sense that you can only watch 1 episode a week or you will ear box yourself. everyone is different you might have more resistance.

Erm Desert Punk. It's funny, has a lot of action. Only about 25 episodes i think but it is slightly perverted but most anime in general has perverted scenes.

Baka and Test is kinda funny... most comedy shows are just shitty and too fan servicy... K-on is really good though
