What Media Player do you use to watch downloaded videos?

I finally got CCCP working so I am back to using that now.

Both Quicktime and VLC are FAIL players.....

Normal MPC or MPC-HC?

Yeah, VLC sucks.

Its MPC-HC, but I didn't have to download it since it came with the CCCP codec pack..... Its all packaged together...

i use VLC Player just because I can't find much else, it does glitch out sometimes and is annoying. I tired Zoom Player once but I think I have to install stupid codec's in order to switch the sound/subtitles. The codec's turned on anytime I opened any media player which was annoying.

You should just stick to only using one media player then.

I suggest MPC-HC + CCCP, it can play anything.

Yeah, CCCP with MP-HC is just amazing... everything you need in 1 Package...

I used VLC and other players (MPC, Winamp etc). I have no problems with VLC. It simply works and that is what matters. My wife is happy with VLC. It plays every file type I have thrown at it from .ogm to .mkv. Others may think it is a fail player. So be it. VLC works for me. If that makes me a retard so be it.

Most of the time i use VLC player and i never have any issues. I get where koby is coming from with his hate for VLC, it has had many problems. After reading this thread it seems many people have issues with VLC, maybe i am just lucky. I will try out MPC-HC though and see how it goes.

VLC compresses as a single .exe well, and the codecs are built in, so I use it when I'm out and about. Otherwise it's always system codecs and MPC.

i like VLC the updated version is much better. theyve fixed most of the issues with it like playback

MPC and ffdshow is still my fav however MPC-HC and Mplayer are both good choices.

Media player classic(MPC) supports almost ALL formats and is simple and easy to use. For those VERY few formats MPC does not support (which it now may support) VLC usually supports. I once had subs that only worked on VLC. That was probably the only time I used it though lol.

I use GOM player, Its worked fine with windows 7 with no issues so far

Well I use a mixture of VLC, Windows Media Player & MPC-HC. Most of the subbed animes I downloaded tend to be in .mkv format nowadays so I try to get codecs for each of them to play them.

VLC Player I have yet to have any issues with it. It opens up really fast.
