Accounting :D.  I took Accounting 1 in my last semester since my professor recommended it.  I figure it was a good thing since I can basically read 10-K forms now so I won't be a *totally* clueless investor :P.  That little class also inspired me to start keeping my own books ^^.  I'm using gnuCash loaded as a portable app on a truecrypt encrypted flash drive :).  I always liked documentation in code, so since accounting is basically documentation in finances, it works for me too ^^.

Yeah I'm glad you were able to find it useful. :)

I can't really say the same for me though.  These past two semesters have been FInancial and Cost accounting.  Chances are I'll never use those types in my life.  What would have been FANTASTIC if the non-accounting business majors could pick our own style of accounting.  I would have totally picked Tax accounting since we all have to do taxes every year lol.  Instead we are all given the same "Fundamentals to Accounting 1 and 2."

i need my glasses /all/ the time. i needed them ever since fifth?? grade but got them in the summer between sixth and seventh grade. i'll never forget the first time i put them on and /could actually fucking see/. i used to take them off when i was on the computer playing diablo II or playing my gba since it bothered my eyes a little to look at the screen and wear them for a while.

I've needed glasses since like... 7th grade. By 9th grade I had moved to contacts. Life with contacts is pretty darn awesome. Peripheral vision is restored which is important for catching those little movements on the sides of your screen while playing certain games. My eyes are weird though. I'm not that bad (prescription only like 3.5) but both my eyes are the same o.O'''.

Up until I was forced to use glasses, my vision was perfect. Then within 1 year it dropped like a rock to ~3.0. The 2 eyes were different though. Over time, the left eye got worse and the right eye got better o.O'''. Suddenly in like 10th grade my eyes decided to switch. Now the left eye got better and the right eye got worse. They swapped. But not for long since a few years later they decided spontaneously to reach equilibrium. I've been at the same prescription for both eyes for like... 2 years now.

Are they kawaii reading glasses.

I'm pretty nearsighted, sometimes I have to lean in towards my monitors to read what's going on because they're on the far end of my desk. My monitors are in Antarctica for all I know for how much I can't see sometimes.

Nah, they're blocky and brown. I look like I should either be asking you to play DnD with me or Jocking out about football. It's quite the contradiction I am told.

----

I couldn't imagine living my whole life needing glasses; hell, I can barely imagine using them now even though I am at this very second.

they feel really weird to start with, then you develop little bumps on the bridge of your nose where they normally sit, and then you get a glasses tan and it's all over
