I means either she is oblivious to everything that happens in the house (and i mean there are a hell of alot of explosions, Plus random people walk in and she assumes that they are friends of Tsunas) or she just lets everything slide. Dragon Ball Z - We never heard or saw of Goku's mom. Heck in flashbacks to Planet Vegeta, etc.. we only ever saw one female Saiyan.Naruto - His mom is dead before the show started, but we find out more about her and stuff way later in the show.Bleach - Ichigo's mom died protecting him as a little kid.D.Gray-man - Never mentioned Allen Walkers real family if I remember correctly.One Piece - Again we hear of the father, but never anything about the mother of Luffy.Soul Eater - Maka's father is around, but I don't think they ever mention her mother.Hitman Reborn - Finally a mother is alive and well.Hunter x Hunter - If I remember correctly the woman he thought was his mother turned out to be his Aunt because his mother had died and his father ran off without him?Yu-Gi-Oh! - His mom and dad both were never shown, instead only his Grandpa.Yuyu Hakusho - Yes finally a mother is alive and well. Though never a mention of his father till late in the show.Don't really feel like listing more...As for Anime mothers I really liked:Masane Amaha (aka Melony) from Witchblade.Misuzu Misaka from To Aru Majutsu no Index.Tsurara Shirayuki from Rosario + Vampire.Ageha Kurono from Rosario + Vampire.Sumire Asou from ef ~ a tale of memories.
