Back then it was $3,500; even though nowadays you can buy a much better new 3D-TV for like $1,000 if not less. >_$ Pricks.However, if you add the cost of my car (2K) along with petrol/'gas' and various services and insurance//Registration over the years, the cost of my TV would be laughable in comparison, sadly. The car I had before was totaled when I hit a deer and since it was already paid off I was able to put all the insurance money into the truck with some money from my own savings. Just a little bit over $30,000 Going to be done paying her off next year right around christmas. Then I'll have a lot more money to play with, though I'll end up saving a good chunk of the extra.Why am I paying off a 15 year mortgage in slightly more than three years? To save somewhere between ten and twenty thousand in interest of course A few lean months is a small price to pay for future comforts in my mind.
