Riku-kun
How were you when you first entered a forum? Like, how did you act, and react? Tell us what was the name of the forum too, for the heck of it.As for me, I was the very definition of n00b for the first two days. After that I pretty much got normal. I learn pretty quick. My first forum was called Blue Laguna.

(aka, I noticed I liked RPing)
Kyo
uh bluelaguna as well. the first person i remember meeting and becoming friends with was Cndyrus, but everyone called her evil paine. now shes an amazing friend i've had for 5 years. later on i met Adam(you dont know him guys), Lepus(drazhar to you guys) and Sephiroth Cetra(Riku-kun). i was a n00b with a successful rp that lasted for aaages. like 100 pages or something stupid like that. however it was asterisk posting as in *bob went to the bathroom*

Mujklob
I think the first forum I joined was around ~2002, called 'RPG Palace', it was a forum based on Enterbrain's RPG Maker program. I think at first I only made one post, which didn't contain much grammar or sense at all. Then, I came back several months later and started posting a little more seriously. I don't think I ever had much trouble figuring out the inner workings of a forum.
† Napoleon Bonaparte
I'm pretty sure my first forum was Shinra Insider. I didn't bother acting all noobish because I don't like it when people use numbers and retarded letters when they write. Very annoying in my opinion. People were awesome there so my first reaction was like, "wow, this isn't going to be half bad at all."Wait now that I think about it I think FM was my first. Lols. My friend was the layout designer for this site so I think I came here first. Then to Shinra Insider. lols.
† Semishadow
I think my first forum was FM. I don't think I was too terrible about punctuation and such, but I guess Koby would be able to tell you guys more about that than I would.
† Emotional Outlet
I joined my first forum when I was thirteen, but I had been lurking at many other fora before then. I remember being all excited to finally post at a forum because I was legally able to. I'm pretty sure I posted sanely. Maybe a little post-whory but not a spammer. Lurking helps make people not idiots when they finally do post. When I registered at the forum, I had taken someone else's username from another forum I lurked at because I didn't really want to think of my own. I thought it was a nice username. However, the person I took it from Googled her username on a regular basis. When she saw that her username had come up on a forum she never registered at, she freaked out and complained about me on the forum I had seen her name at.I watched the thread at the other forum but didn't really think much on it until one of the people from the forum had come by to the forum I did register at and started posting threads sympathising with Nazis and other stuff. She then e-mailed me about it--I freaked out because of the person who was posting the bullshit at the forum and because she was getting pissed at me for taking the username, so I wrote her an apology and left the forum after posting a thread on it, saying it was my fault that the Nazi-sympathiser had come to the forum. The people running the forum told me it wasn't my fault that someone had come by and posted the nonsense, that a username wasn't worth the drama, but I guess I just like taking the blame. At the other forum someone had posted a URL that used their username--it wasn't his site--and he said something like, "I wonder how you would have reacted if it was [your username].com instead of [my username].com." A few other people were like, "It's a bit extreme for you to worry about this when you claim to be sensible."And yeah. It was a really nice forum while it lasted, though. Closed down ages ago. Riku-kun
I didn't bother acting all noobish because I don't like it when people use numbers and retarded letters when they write. Very annoying in my opinion. We are fellow haters then. I never went THAT noobish. I always tried to use my best english, trying to keep punctuation in mind and so on and so forth. I really did n00b out in RPs. First off, at the start I never did join a propper RP. I wandered around the Bar RPs, doing posts like...one line long. One of the party's boyfriend came and backed her up. The Admin didn't like it and threattened them both to be banned. The MOD (Cheer) and her boyfriend (Ro) formed a faction called the Cheer/Ro Group (also called The Rebellion Group) with people who supported them, and all the people, mainly kiss-ass, that supported Bluelaguna (the Admin) formed a Blue Laguna Cleansing Group. Me and a Super Mod formed another group ourselves, the Chocobo Gene Unit, for people who mainly just wanted to stay aside of fighting and try to recover as many members from the "war" as possible. Eventually the Cleansers started to SPAM the best place there, the only place where Chocobo Gene members still bothered to post (actually, we didn't even wanna look on other threads...), which is the Bar I ressurected in this very forum. Everyone who still went there was a member of Chocobo Gene Unit. We caught two spies and they started to spam out the bar. The war we had was mostly that. Spam eachother's threads and stuff of the kind. The MODs on each party would delete stuff made by the other party, then the other did the same, and then MODs were recovering stuff...it was insane. Eventually, the Blue Laguna Cleansing Group won, because the other groups gave up. (of course, no beef against an admin). Bluelaguna himself erased the whole forum and proof of it's existance. The members scattered through every corner of the world....wide web. Me, Kyo and Drazhar were there too. I don't think Kyo remembers much of it at all seen as he was pretty....spaced out back then XD. But Draz does. Nowadays, what was once Bluelaguna.net, is now a forum called L-Factor. A forum that is WAY overly populated, it got cluttered with millions of posts and threads and...well basically you can't really find ANYTHING there, so whenever you wanna post on something that isn't on the first page of each Board, you have to create a new one. And no one bothers to erase the latest.Talk about a drama, eh?
Reenhart
Wow >.< yeah I remember that site to, ffwhisper was affiliated with it at one time if I can remember correctly. Yes yes leave it to drama to ruin a good thing ;_; I'd give anything to go back and fix it but oh well. Another one of my first forums back then was a site ran by tidusx called ffultima which also doesnt exist anymore I think, he was a pretty good graphics designer and thats pretty much all I remember haha
