You should also ignore the desire to scratch anywhere near your groin until you have washed your hands. Because, if your luck is like mine, the "Perfume" will turn out to be very old pepper spray. Yes, it still works. Yes, it takes a moment to kick in. Yes, you will be laughed at in the ER.
