Your favorite Final Fantasy Classic?

Of the classics I own Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI. However I've barely played Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI. I've played alot of Final Fantasy IV but I got stuck when I had to go find the land of the summoner's or whatever and my only clue was "somewhere deep underground"... O.o

So of the classics I'd still have to go with Final Fantasy IV. However I bet most of you will like Final Fantasy VI.

I've played all of them, including III jap (I played an unofficial translation, but whatever...)

My favorite is VI, which is the best FF even if you include the other games, followed closely by IV and V.

Actually, I find V to be my favourite classic one. I just liked the system in it.

I liked all of the classics, own them all to (except 3, no DS ), but out of them all, my favourite is VI. It had a great story that, if you really think about it, modeled FFVII's story. Kefka was both maniacal and hilarious, which made him the perfect villain. And I loved the battle system that was used.

Six! Six! Oh god, SIX! The scene on the ship after Shadow talks to Terra about whatever and Locke shows up and starts puking and threatens Shadow not to tell anyone always makes me giggle.

The first one was okay (still play it), the second one makes me cry, the third one I played as a ROM and that was okay, the fourth one was pretty awesome, and the fifth one I never really got into.

Mystic Quest was pretty awesome too, if only because it was the first game I ever beat all by my lonesome. ;D

I played the remake of 1,2 and 4.

I liked 2 the most so far, because it was actually challenging ( Still didn't beat the final boss).

However I will buy a DS somewhere in June I guess, for when 3 and 5 come in Holland.

I like the remake of the nes version of ff3 the best

It had a great story that, if you really think about it, modeled FFVII's story.

Heh, don't you mean that FFVII modeled FFVI's story?

Anyways, my favorite is Final Fantasy VI. Even though it's graphics and gameplay is far out of date, it's story is superb and most likely one of the best out in the gaming world. Though, if I remember, this game was called Final Fantasy III when I played it on my SNES.

I have all of the Final Fantasy classics that are listed here, Out of all of them, I'd say Final Fantasy 3 is best remake out of the other remake listed above!

I preffer VI. I've never finished it, but I still have it for the PSX...The edition that came out with a CD trailer for FFX.

VI gets my vote for being really the first of the series to exhibit the character depth and exposition over a large number of characters that would later characterise (Pun'd) the series. Plus, Kefka.

i liked ffiv and also liked ffvi. they both had great storylines and were rather long.

I've only played III and IV (on the DS) so far, and I really like IV. I stopped playing it a long time ago and never beat it, but I liked it. III's alright.

I want to play V and VI someday...

FF4 > FF6 > FF5 > FF2 > FF1. FF4 is in my opinion the best game and the hardest to beat, especially to get the adamant armor/glass mask at the end.

Out of the classics, I would have to give it to FF6 great storyline, a lot of party members, you can put more members in your party than the average FF, as well as the fact that it was the first out of the classics that I played... although I did like the Job system in FF5 and I did like FF4s characters and challenge too.
