How would you describe your anime watching habits?

I watch 3 to 6 episodes after school.

and I try to watch 2 or 3 series at the same time in that format:

- A big series (100+ episodes, currently: Naruto)

- A medium size (24 to 52 episodes) series that I've seen before (currently: Gurren Lagann)

- A medium size series that I haven't seen before (currently: Gunslinger Girl)

And if I find a small series (6 episodes, like OVAs), I try to watch it all on the same day (recently: FLCL)

i watch anime when i do weights, so thats 2 episodes every second day which is around 50 minutes, just enough for 1 session

I did think about doing weights while I watch anime, but then I thought that I wouldn't be entirely focused on the show I'm watching. Maybe I'll try today.

If its a really good short series, like to watch all of it in one day. Once you start watching hard to stop. Unlike on going series like Naruto or Bleach, have to pace myself, nothing like spending $30 to $40 per box set watching it all in one day and have to wait a month or 2 for next box set to come out.

I'd say my habits are erratic but structured. I know that's contradictory. You see, every other weekend, I visit my Dad who I don't live with. I mainly go up there to see friends. One of my friends I watch anime with so last week we watched Baka And Test and The Sacred Blacksmith. Over the weekend I can watch a lot. I watched the whole of Death Note in one weekend once.

Added onto that I sometime watch stuff during the week, like last night I was defragmenting my PC so I put my Xbox on and watched episode 5-8 of Dance In The Vampire Bund.

Now Unfortunately, because my parents are poor, I have to share a room with my brother who isn't into anime as much as me. He has watched some shows but they're always typical "guy" shows like Samurai Champloo and Bleach. Because of that I don't watch as much as I could during the week because he's here and some of the stuff I watch - like Dance In The Vampire Bund - can be a bit dodgy if taken out of context.

DISCLAIMER: Just to clarify I'm not saying that only guys watch either of the aforementioned shows or that girls cannot watch them. I think we can all agree though that they are aimed at men in the same way that something like Clannad is probably aimed at girls as most guys wouldn't be into the romantic side. Sometime stereotypes are helpful, just to be able to make a point.

I would say that my anime watching is sporadic, right now because of University stuff for me I don't get that much time to watch anime or other stuff like that, so I watch when I get a chance. and when I get a chance is normally a couple of hours... so I will sit down and watch 4+ episodes at a time.

I watch Anime two nights a week on my days off. Usually about 3 - 5 episodes at a go, so 6 to 10 a week. Once in a while I'll squeeze in an extra night if work hasn't been to crazy but I normally like to be on top of my game so I can pay attention. I'm a little ADD

I usually watch about 5 episodes a day on weekdays and about 10-20 on weekends, as long as I haven't got anything else planned on the weekend. Lately I haven't watched any anime for about a week now, tonnes of revision and coursework to catch up on =P, but hopefully I can get back to watching some soon (saw an epic AMV about Eureka 7 the movie and can't wait to get into the series).

I used to like watching On-going stuff, but I kind of stopped. I prefer downloading a series and knocking it out marathon style.

Depending on how interesting the series seems after 3 episodes, I'll contemplate how to dedicate my time to it. Whether I will devote 1-2 hours or just an episode at a time.

It's some what random.

When I'm watching a series that's already concluded, I usually make sure I have some free time [like during school breaks] because, if I really get into it, that is all I will be doing until it is done and nothing else. I've never been good at pacing myself if I really like something. So, I, too, am sporadic in my anime watching. I wish I did have more time to watch it on a daily basis like a bunch of you guys [i'm seriously envious!] but I'm a university student trying to get into medical school so I'm struggling to make sure I get enough sleep every night. Haha.

I will often go months without watching a singl;e anime episode, and then find a series I really want to watch... and I'll spend as much extra time as I can find outside of more important things watching it until I finish.. then it's a bunch more time before I look at anime again.

literally this.

and also add that it seriously takes me a lot to watch an anime in the first place.
