Not a lot of entries this time. I voted for #4. #5 was very good, but after snooping on da internetz, I found the original stock image, and there's not much difference between this and the original other than a color boost. Don't take me wrong though, it looks good.

Honestly I really like them all. As usual the artists here have all done a fantastic job and showed there craft beautifully. I chose number 3 on something of an impulse. They were all tied pretty close but I kind of liked the color palette on it (which is weird because I usually feel that red and black is cliche and overdone, but it really works for this one and shows that even cliches can be crafted into something terrific in the proper hands).

Again, great job everybody. ^.^

Your opinion shouldn't be based on how it was made, but rather the outcome. You said it was good, so why not vote for it? It's showing off creativity in the artists way - some do whatever they did, some smudge, others fill their canvas with c4ds and fractals.

That being said, nice job, everyone. This week was another good week.

I voted for the Unicorn piece. It just really stood out and I felt the the designer really grasped the aspect of fantasy in it and it felt more original. All of the works this week were really well done though!

I voted for #4. Whilst the rest are wonderful, this one is my favorite.

The colour theme, lighting and design is beautifully done. ^__^

Lol, But I made the thread on the 15th, not the 16th. It was Monday, the 15th, at 2:47 PM (my time). And I put the poll up on the 19th, at 11:04 PM (again, my time). That gives more than four days. Even if the actual times are different for people in different time zones, the amount of time remains the same. So if, according to your time zone, it happened to be the 16th when I made the thread, then the deadline was actually the 20th for you. Either way, four days.

This is actually pretty normal. Usually, it works out to where the entries are due by Friday night (I'm talking about my time zone here), the poll runs for two days (until Sunday night), and the next thread hopefully gets posted by Monday, and that's assuming the results for the previous week get posted right away. So this particular thread was actually pretty much on schedule. Last week was different due to some timing issues. Actually, this one probably could have started even sooner, but since the original theme chosen (FMA) had already been used, I had to wait for the new choice in theme. But if anything, that put us back on schedule.

The only times it could have ever been a longer duration was when there was an issue. And when that happens, a week gets skipped somewhere.

Anyway, I just wanted to clear that up.

geez...one piece of criticism and you believe it's mean. How is the artist supposed to improve without feedback. It may sound mean(even though I didn't intend it to be), but in a way it should inspire the artist to do even better.

Yes, I did say it was good, but in the end it's a personal decision, don't you think? Like I said, there's nothing wrong with it. The only thing I said was an observation, it DID NOT AFFECT my choosing AT ALL.....

.....sigh....ok, beyond this, I thought the results were great.
