Maroon 5, Kesha, and Rebecca Black.

Shut up, I think some of their stuff is catchy. D:

Why are you ashamed of liking Maroon 5 (not saying why you put that in one list with Rebecca Black ;D joking). M5 has some great music and well isnt weird or smth... is it?

I officially like Mindless Self Indulgence and well sometimes people... stare O_O

when i listen to it.

And there's nothing wrong with it, but...they're just... I can't think of the word. People like me shouldn't be listening to Maroon 5, I'll put it that way.

MSI has the soul! People just dont understand ;D

Besides, I havent heard much of Marylin Manson's songs but there are a couple with some good beat, like This Is The New Shit which was used in Dragon Age trailer below, or Four Rusted Horses rom F.E.A.R. 3

Honestly none. If I was ashamed to listen to something I wouldn't like it to start with. There is only one reason to be ashamed of something and that's if it's bad.

Any Lady Gaga, Kesha, Rebecca Black, Justin Beiber, etc.. lovers should all be ashamed. None of these people know what music really is and they make our ears bleed.

Honestly, I listen to pretty much everything but country, and even still I have a few country (or country influenced) songs in my iTunes (which, to give you some idea of my breadth of my taste, is at 68.5 gigs right now, and could run continuously for thirty and a half days without repeating a track), so I don't really find much music "shameful" (except modern worship music, Christianity has backslid since they dropped the hymnal).

That said, it is sometimes kind of awkward, as a Caucasian, to explain my love for Jay-Z's music or, as a heterosexual male, to explain my enjoyment of Katy Perry and her tantalizing rhyme schemes (she really is a genius, her songs are perfectly written to be catchy, which is an art in and of itself).

There are absolutely no artists or musical genres I'm ashamed to like. The only reason I'd be ashamed is if the public's opinion was that the subject in question is generally considered crappy, and if I felt the need to be a sheep and jump on a hate-bandwagon while liking it in secret.

Of course, I'm not calling you or anyone else a sheep or saying you shouldn't feel ashamed. Other people will have their own reasoning. The criteria I listed would just be my own reason to feel ashamed.
