Question: Am I The Only Who Can't Stand Orihime?

I dislike Orihime for another reason also. I feel like she hasn't really changed at all from the beginning. Everyone else but her has at least increased her powers by a bit. Only recently in the manga has she had a power increase and its still nothing compared to everyone else.

She wasn't so bad originally but now she's getting on my nerves they need to tone down using her to "awaken" Ichigo's power, it's getting old.

I find her rather annoying too sometimes, especially when she spends the entire episode only screaming kurosaki-kun. But her unnatural ability to heal others adds some importance to her, I guess.

No, she drives me nuts. Get's a bit more useful as the show progresses, and is kinda useful in the current manga arc. But.....still rather irritating.

honestly i feel that she is annoying because she comes off as a weak will character that is being shoe horned into a more predominant role, it feels as if it against her original personality, i could be way off, i'm on ep 139

I don't like the constant KUROSAKI-KUN throught the hueco mundo arc, but I generally like Orihime, she's sweet and she brings her own brand of humour to the show.

Orihime is cute and at times funny, and that's a good idea to have in the show. But yet she kinda doesn't really do much either, more just standing there and watching over everyone else.

Finally some people I can agree with! Orihime drives me crazy. Shes always making these long winded statements that she never backs up. She is constently in the way or grunting for god knows what reason, and then whwn it comes time to fight she races to the front lines only to argue with her stupid f+++ing magic hair pin thingys.

I am not her biggest fan.... she's actually my least favorite character next to Momo. But her random off the wall comments are entertaining.

I won't say to much, because I don't want to spoil it for you. But I just found that she was annoying the whole way through. Then again, we are only up to episode 232. She might redeem herself later, but right now, she bugs the hell out of me. I agree with you Animenerd99, she needs to be more decisive and to stop being sappy.

While I don't really hate Orihime, i do find her personality very annoying and i am sick at how she idolizes Ichigo, like he's perfect.

Its pretty annoying that she needs to be rescued all the time and that she is pretty much useless in a fight, however her ditzyness is rather amusing at times.

I like Orihime she may not be any use in a fight but she's always there to heal the gain in life of death situations. I also agree with looniex her ditzyness is amusing.

I would agree with the OP, to an extent. What I mostly don't like about her is that she feels she needs to protect (through the first few arcs) through fighting (much like Ichigo). However her ability is quite amazing (even in universe) and it isn't a fighting ability, it is a supportive ability. I think she'd be a much better character (in the first few arcs) if she simply realized that.

Anyways, my 2 cents

I think as a character she is the most consistent, but that's not to say that I like everything she does. The Aizen story arc adds a lot to her character however, even if she is usually useless.

I can't stand her much either. I mean at first she was kind of funny but now she just gets annoying. "Kurosaki-kun!" "Oh Kurosaki-kun!" "What do I do Kurosaki-kun?!" She has the power to reject parts of reality she doesn't like yet all she can do is sit there and cry like a lovesick puppy!
