Gainax was involved only as a 2nd Key Animator for episodes 1 and 2 and a 1st Key Animator in episode 6. As far as the actual people/companies involved in 'production' that goes to Maeda Jun of Key/Visual Art's.

So while they were hired as outsiders for some animations in a couple episodes I wouldn't consider it to be 'produced' by Gainax. Seeing as this is just a friendly competition I see no reason to get too technical about it so as long as everyone is fine with it, I'll allow the entry.
