Fist the question: Can anyone confirm about a rumor I've been hearing about an extra episode that is going to come out only on DVD? I really hope its true.Now onto my thoughts...For one reason or another I decided to start watching this anime about ten days ago, but not really expect anything from it. Just start watching it to curve my anime A.D.D. at that moment. And now after watching this last episode (#13) it really hit me, at how great this series is and wish to say to anyone who is thinking at all about maybe watching this series; PLEASE DO. It has action, but this anime is more of a touching sentimental anime that really makes you think, but it also has a few really funny parts here and there in it. Nothing about Angel Beats! to me felt like the director tried to cram too much or not put enough into the 13 episodes. It felt just right. Though that said I'm still wanting more! Angel or Kanade isn't his lover initially because she only wanted to thank him for saving her and then they built their relationship. I will admit that I nearly thought that your theory was true.Angel Beats! was a great anime and i didn't expect less from KEY who also created Clannad. (Hope i'm not putting too much pressure on). The first few episodes had a bit of action and comedy but the real thing began after the 9th/10th episode. At first I thought it was just another usual anime but it turned out to be a truly extraordinary one. The songs they played in the anime were awesome too. This is truly a must watch anime.
