since being here for a few days now, I thought I could make a few suggestions:

1. get rid of the shadow hearts and grandia forums. I understand the admin is very fond of those series. shadow hearts is my all time favorite game too, so I'm not saying this out of bitterness! but I think at this point in time, they no longer need their own forums. shadow hearts series is dead, I'm not sure about grandia. but if someone wants to discuss those various games, they could always do so in the general gaming area.

2. how about a news forum in the gaming area? a place to discuss news related to the gaming industry. you can link to various articles and talk about the latest going-ons in that department and new releases coming.

and that's all. simply suggestions and my own opinions. no harm intended

1.) The Shadow Hearts and Grandia boards are here to stay as long as the forum remains. Simple reason this forum is used for http://grandia-online.net and http://shadowhearts.info and people from them need dedicated section.

Would be silly for a site to have a forum and not have a dedicated board towards what the site was about, and it's like you said... the series aren't really anything new as Nautilus, the team behind Shadow Hearts has been disbanded so there will probably never be another one. So it's not like it would be good to create an all new forum for that site.

As for Grandia, a MMORPG has been in the works for it since like 2006, although no new news has been given since last year about it. Square Enix still exists and Game Arts as well, so there is still a huge possibility of seeing a Grandia IV.

2.) That can easily be done within the main gaming board, and has been used as such in the past. As for news on Square Enix, and other related RPG's we usually try to post then in the Forgotten Memories board of The Forgotten Network section as anything posted there shows up at http://forgottenmem.net , another fansite. Though it's been years since I've actually worked on that site, and I don't really keep the news up to date anymore either. One reason why I'd love to hire some Service Crew members who do, so they can continue to at least keep the gaming and anime related news up to date.

Hope you don't find my response rude, it's certainly not intended, and I thank you for making suggestions to better the place, and I understand your reasoning's for the first, but I just can't bring myself to remove them.
