I took quite a bit of time to do this entry. I used some new effect and tried out a couple of new ideas. I think it turned out pretty well.

I don't think so. It's a checkered background...I haven't heard anything called checkered-stripes. It's either checkers or stripes. It could be considered checkered-stripes if actual stripes were added to the sig.

Thanks! I think it is, actually. I found another similar render, and you could definitely tell that's what it was supposed to be.

Sadly, even Poe agrees that your entry needs to be changed. You either need to add actual stripes to it or do another entry.

Speaking of which... I'm going out of town tomorrow, so the latest I could set up the poll would be about 6pm EST. Any objections to setting the poll up earlier in the evening? I mean, if more people were going to enter, they had an extended time period in which to do so, yes?
