Assertiveness and being able to do things without having to fish for compliments are good qualities to have.But I do have a problem with people who pretend that they aren't self-centred or say that their ego "doesn't show much" when, as I mentioned, their first post is what it is.I was going to mention that if she wasn't referring to herself, then obviously it would be an error on my part, but the usage of "we" connotes that the statement applies to her as well.
