prank125
I wanna be the Guy is definitely the most unforgiving game i've ever attempted. However, that was made with the intention of being the unholy spawn of contra and ghost'n goblins. As far as the average commercial release goes Berzerk gets my vote. DaTrueMonster
Modern Warfare 1 on vet by far for me the nade icon was my worst enemy but for parts ill say kingdom hearts games some of the secret bosses were too hard and tales of the abyss on the highest difficulty was insane the game went up to 200 levels instead of 100 or

Dukor
Hardest game i have played is got to be Super Meat Boy, some of the levels are almost impossible. But other then that its a great game.

CRCGamer
Umm. Hmm, hardest game that is meant to be beat or hardest game that is meant to be practically impossible to beat? For the first it would have to be highest difficulty of R-Type Final... that last level F-C is a real pain to get through with a default ship choice. For the second, highest difficulty level of Dungeons of Dredmor hands down. Even if you make a perfect character, just that right composition of mobs in a high level monster zoo has the potential to destroy your character. Roguelikes in general on max difficulty have a way of doing their level best to destroy your work. Edited May 22, 2013 by CRCGamer
Dark_Angel13
Recently Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has been REALLY challenging compared to previous tekken titles so for now this is my hardest game, keep getting my ass kicked.
LTJG RIO
Doom 2 on nightmare was pretty hard as well as Dante's Inferno on Inferno mode, Ninja Gaiden and Diablo III on Inferno mode. I remember I set Jedi Academy to Jedi Master once and played through the game and some of the boss battles I was about to chuck my controller out the window. On one occasion I was so Irate that just remember screaming and I heard a crack and when I looked down I had literally broken my controller in half. dark32flame
Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja (I think that was what the difficulty was called),Literally could only play it once every couple of months, before I rage quit again for a couple more months. bleargh
Dark Souls is really easy when you know the system, Ninja Gaiden NES is a dead zone...
Wolveon
dead space got hell stuck on the part when you have to shot asteroids I played the beginning of Dead Space, but I couldn't stand the camera view and stopped. Maybe I should continue.. Anyway, I can't quite remember the hardest game, but some frustrating ones were Star Wars: Jedi Outcast, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2.
