Story/Poem of the month! ~Results~

I've only completed about a third of my short story but haven't given up yet; still got two weeks left so I'm still in the game. Barring too much procrastinating I should be able to make it. I probably won't get it posted until the day before the deadline though, knowing me. Even so, by my standards it'll be pretty rushed. >_>

Twas the night before Skyrim, and all through the store

Gamers were itching, for more blood and gore

Sleeping bag were laid out all in a line

In hopes to get this game so fine

People were clustered like packs of Nerds™

All speaking their little gaming words

Moms in their coats, addicts in their sweaters

Waiting for Oblivion except much better

When from behind the store came such a clatter

A truck with Elder Scrolls the latter!

Away some flew from the back of the line

To catch a glimpse of this game so fine

The light glimmered off the freshly packed truck

Containing the game we will buy with luck.

When, what did their geeky eyes appear?

Martin Septum giving them a leer!

With the driver at sword point he hijacked the auto

And with a fervour like winning the lotto

He proclaimed that Oblivion would be the only game

To reach the heights of RPG fame

"On geeks, on gamers, on losers!" shouted a nerd

And onwards they rushed to take him down in a herd

The truck rushed off with all the speed it could make

Leaving disappointed gamers in its wake

Suddenly then all erupted in a heartfelt LOL!

For old Martin collided right into a wall!

Skyrim flew all into the sky

Leaving nerds jumping as if they could fly

Martin Septum stood on the truck with a bow

And said words that I can still hear now

"Enjoy your game of unparalleled might

Merry Skyrim to all, and to all a good night"

Thanks, though most of my poems suck, im really good at rhyming couplets!!! And it was supposed to be "Twas the night before christmas", but I can see ragnock the red working too

Alright I wrote a little poem/song I'm a bit of an amateur at this but I tried

There's three words hanging at the tip of tongue

Once I say them I'll know I won

Cause baby this is the way I feel

So now lets make a deal.

and there ain't no way your gonna change it

It's not what you think it is

Believe me when I say this

I forget you

I wont dig another hole

looking good their Seira. Man this is going to be a tough one to judge ^.^

Alright, i have had some time to think about it and read and then re-read all the entries (Shazi dear I love you but i soooo wanna kill you after reading KH XD)

So thank you all for entering I loved all the poems/stories so in first place is Seira. Your poem was very touching.

Second place is RazorDan with his very bittersweet poem.

third was the Shyguy for his poem.
