Rules:

-One entry per person. Entries may be edited as often as needed until midnight the day before the closing of the competition.

-Banners can be in GIF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format.

-Banners must be the following size: 1020x160 pixels.

-You cannot submit the same banner twice. This includes redoing a previously submitted entry.

-You must use image and spoiler tags:

-No Borders.

-You may not vote for yourself.

-No nudity or pornography.

-No spam.

-Have fun and be creative. Your skills improve with every composition.

-No matter the outcome of the poll, Koby will have the final say because this is his site.

Special Notes:

-Any staff member can stop or close the BOTM.

-All staff and members are allowed to participate.

-All questions about or concerning the Graphical Division will go to the GFX Team. If you have a question about BOTM, please send a PM instead of posting in the thread.

Well I thought I'd give it a go and see how I do, this is my first time entering so it should be interesting.

I voted for #4. I liked the dullness of it. It looked very epic. I also love the staff. It's kinda fierce!

My Vote goes to #4 I can see how much work the person put into this one.

#1 Links just a tad too fuzzy and blurry in this,the background is a little plain jane too D: The Text is one of the better features of this Banner Sorrys D: 5/10

#2 is a Good entry the backgrounds a little plain though,The Girl doesn't look all that blended into the banner ((shoulda knocked down the white some ;3)) The Water under the text looks good and the text is well made just a tad too big since it starts to pixelate. 6.5/10

#3 This one had a great background since its well made and I enjoyed the dashed thing xD.The Text and the brush behind it work well together my only gripe with this one is that the girl could have had some more effects done to her but it's my 2nd Favorite nice work!! 8/10

#4 omg where to begin...First off I love your background the Swirls and Water like effects work well with Yuna.I also like the subtle hints of colors you used can't see them at first but once you look harder you can see it ;3 I loved the monochrome effect you used for it .And lastly the Text Simple but Worked perfectly with your work I loved how you incorporated her staff as the line for the text You are a true master . 10/10

#5 I really liked your background as well the characters are blended well the only problem with this one is it's font,I'm guessing its a snow flake pattern which would probably look better if it was a tad smaller or if thats no good maybe added some effects to it such as a Grainent or a Style 7.5/10

All in all nice work everyone ((sorry fixed with ratings xD))

I think Shazi's blurred edges helped give the feel of it being foggy like the background suggests. I see no reason why that would be a bad thing at all. The text didn't really flow though.

2nd entry, tbh not fond how Horo seems to pop out of an otherwise 2d design. It feels like the different parts belong to different designs and nothing really seems to flow well together.

3rd entry. Nice design overall, but I think it would have looked a bit better with some blurring done to the jagged edges such as on the hair. It kind of feels like it's missing something though with all that open space as if it would have been nicer as a signature.

4th great work. Only nitpick is the head of the staff looks a bit odd, perhaps could have been sharpened somewhat.

5th. I voted for this one. Not really sure why it just appealed to me most.
