All right, in order not to go to far away from the topic, let's specify why we like the characters. So...

Shikamaru . Well, obvious. At first, I thought he would make a perfect Hokage, but then, being on the throne isn't exactly his thing. No, he is more like a pillar which supports the Konoha. The most mature character in Naruto. And his laziness isn't a very serious problem, especially when he can put it aside when needed.

Batou . Don't know why exactly. He's just a perfect sidekick. Always ready to risk his life, even when he knows that no one is there to appreciate it.Although he is a cyborg partly, he is the most humanly char in GIS. PS: There are books in his appartement, pretty strange in a computer world.

Fuyutsuki. The only character in the evangelion whose not a complete psycho. Well, it also takes serious guts to be so close to Gendo all the time and not to put a bullet into his head.

Sasuke: I like his new Sharingan,you'll never know whats coming next.

Ishida Uryuu: He's smart and always will try to own enemies in smart ways.

Zoro: He's mentality is strong even so hes scary and He is always working hard to get what he wants.

Kamina: Hes speaking with the hart not the mind witch I find it kind of cool but in certain ways he managed to win even if he died.

Lelouch Lamperouge: I like his smart moves as a chess master which he dominated the hole world.

Tsuna: Hes kind and always tries hard to protect his friends.

Kenichi: Hes like a gentleman with the ladies even so his point of acknowledging the martial arts is to protect the week and his friends witch I find it kind of cool.

Kenshin: As former legendary assassin He desires to protect every individual from danger without harming others even so if hes in danger.

Ippo: His will of becoming the strongest boxer is incredible.

Minato: greatest and bad ass ninja ever created

Jiriya: Just because he's cool.

Zoro: He uses katanas to fight. (btw: that's my favorite weapon)

Portgas D Ace: He's a killer fighter and uses fire to fight (fire is my favorite element)

Red Haired Shanks: Strongest Pirate besides Mihawk.

Kakashi - I like how hes always calm and levelheaded. Hes a great ninja.

Vegeta - He doesn't seem to be appreciated enough in dbz. Hes always trying so hard but can never really achieve the greatness that he wants.

Chi (chobits) - Who wouldn't want a cute girl robot.

Theres more but my brain seems to be turned off right now lol its late XD.
