lol campus security ^^. My school was being silly this year with their field . At the end of the Fall semester, the school decided that the soccer field right outside where I lived needed to be fertilized. By fertilized, I mean TONS of the natural stuff. All over the field. This was inconveniencing for 2 reasons:

1) The smell of course

2) Crossing that field to class makes my walk 5 minutes shorter and cuts out 1 big hill.

But ok, it had to be done some time. It's not like they do it yearly or something. However, right before the Spring semester ended, the school decided to completely dig up the field . Turns out that the school spontaneously decided to make their soccer field regulation size (it was a little smaller than regulation for YEARS). All the grass was dug up and 3 lanes of the track surrounding it were also dug up. This was inconveniencing for 2 reasons:

1) The noise. They decided to do this 3 weeks before school ended which meant that they disturbed the last week of classes, the week before finals, and final exams .

2) Once again, I could not cross the field >.<

And it made the sacrifices done in the Fall to fertilize the field completely pointless .

Also, lolrawr how do you find a million billion different Azusa pictures to use as your avatar/sig that you change once every 3-7 days at least?

Shhhh it's a trade secret. Lol...

 

Though I change my avatar every 15 days (twice a month).  

 

I get mah sigs from the lovely Dreamcastor Rei.  I try to go seasonal with them.  I use all of them that she makes for me.  So for spring she made me 4 and I will split them up evenly until summer.

 

Since I have a third party making them I can't guarantee that I will have fresh Azusa pictures in my signatures that I haven't used before in an avatar.  For example on May 28th I'll be using a sig she made me that has a picture of Azusa that I have used before as an avatar.  It was actually my second avatar here if I remember correctly (also Java made me a nice wallpaper with the render... It's a good render).  Now if there is an Azusa picture in a sig that I use and I haven't used it in an avatar, I won't use it in my avatar.

 

tl;dr Azusa is srs business.

here i just make something when i get extremely bored.....this recent change of my sig is gonna last me at-least 2 months.... ..b4 i decide to make a new one lolz !!

Are you talking about fashion designers or graphic designers? If it's the latter, then I wish I could'v been next to you because I so want to learn graphic designers. There are four of them at my office, designing the layouts for all the advertisements we do, but they haven't taught me much; only a few baby movements

 

This year, well, at least in the latter half of it, I'm going to start learning in earnest again. Whether it's self-teaching, through other people, the internet or books from the library . . . I've been too much of my life already doing nothing useful and being stuck in the same place. I sincerely hope the rest of you guys out there don't ever stop learning.

 

Graphic design i am currently taking a course in graphic design myself. it's amazing what some of  the top designer can do. 

 

Actually the expo/conference covers a broad spectrum. this guy was there 

 the fully-sick rapper and he told us about how he was in hospital for 6 months in quaretine and instead of being down on himself, he taught himself how to use the camera and editing and sound features on his laptop instead.

 

then there was this lady who's job was to design the colour palattes and interior of cars. which sounds kinda dull, but she said "most people get in the car and don't even realise the detail that goes into the interior and to us who design it, that's a compliment. it means my job of making the inside feel as much a part of the car as the outside worked" which is interesting since you don't always need to be "recognised" for your work to know your work was good.

 

there was also a chick who works in the Only tapestry workshop in the southern hemisphere, and despite how boring that sounds, it was actually really interesting to see that her workshop doesn't make those boring things that hang in churches and crap like that, but instead get artists to design and image that they then turn into a giant tapestry to hang in museums or Hospitals to make them look nicer. The whole idea is to preserve the skill and make long lasting artworks to brighten dull spaces.

I change my signature and avatar when I hit a 100 post interval. Will change my again at 1,200.

I only change my avatar/sig when I find an image that strikes me as "omfg I want this to be rendered. Then I go make the render and I think "hey wouldn't this render go nice on a sig!" So I make a sig. Then I'm like "well I did all this work, I might as well put it up." And that's how my avatar/sig gets changed . If I don't find something that interests me, I won't change my pics. That's why it's so slow updating.

That was some motivational stuff you shared above It's always nice to see people go out there and take an extra step to move forward instead of sitting around and doing nothing. Note to self : Better start following what I just said.

I've been meaning to make a new signature, but I haven't had time! I usually stumble across a render I want to use and start there. Sometimes I'll say, "I want a Les Mis signature," and then search for something to use. But I think it's harder to do it that way.

My avatar changes even less than my signature does. I'm rather happy with Cool Cat Jeff Winger, so it'll probably stay for quite a while.

I also will probably never change my username. It's been like three years, why change it now?

Speaking of which... I literally just passed three years on Monday. Woo boy.
