What do you collect? And how long have you been collecting it?

I collect a bunch of things. My anime collection has been constantly growing and same with my personal library. But for proper collections, mine would be my bone collection. I probably have over 200 various bones and skeletons from about 30 different types of animals. All sealed up in tupperware or on display in my room. Also, my moose jaw is for now my zombie melee weapon of choice for my house. I do also collect swords, but I stopped since its alot more expensive nowadays

I guess you cold say I collect book series and books in general. I own all the House of Night series so far, I own the Twilight Novel series, I own The Mortal Instrument series as well as The Infernal Devices series. I also own about 50+ books on my book shelf, not counting manga. So I guess that would be my collection.

Once I get a lot of money, I want to collect musical instruments, too!!

I collect Anime, Video Games, and Movies. I got a shit ton of them. 4 shelves full and now just piling them up where I can fit em.

I use to collect stuff like YGO cards but I quit that years ago.

I collect comics (mainly trade paperpacks) and manga. My comics collection is a mess. My mango collection isn't that organized or great either but here is an old pic of that:

I used to collect Beanie Babies and Pokemon cards. I'm sure they're all still in the basement too, haha. I did collect manga at one point, but I kind of stopped reading them. So I have quite a few unfinished series.

My family has a rather large collection of movies, taking up multiple cabinets. I contribute to that collection frequently. I've also started a small collection of TV shows.

I collect quite a few things when I have the money for it xD

#1-Swords/Scythes I love collecting swords and scythes from anime/videogames/TV mostly cause they make such awesome versions.atm I'm working on getting a Gunblade from FF8 & Dante's Rebellion Sword from DMC.Scythe's mostly because its a really unique weapon which is rarely used,most people say its just for farming but like a spear they have a long reach and can easily attack more than one enemy if the person know's how to fight.

#2-Manga I'm not much for manga yet cause it takes me forever to buy them ((the closest manga store is like 100+ miles away...))but atm I'm collecting the Code Geass series and the .hack// Series which by the time I finished should be around 10-13 books xD

#3-Probably my biggest collection would be my Gaming

I have like 7-8 consoles ((NES,SNES,Sega Genesis,Atari 2600,Gamecube,PS1,PS2,Wii)) and 4-5 Handhelds ((PSP 1001,PSP 3001,DS,GBA SP,GBA and alot of Variations of the GB XD)) and probably around..100-200 Games counting them all together xD I'd probably have more but I only buy games with a unique story or battle systems xD.

This is going to sound weird, but I collect stationary and pens. I have, at last count, 25 different types of stationary varying in age, ruling thickness, color, and type, in 5 different binders. I also have at least six blank notebooks that have something unique about their binding or the paper inside of them.

When it comes to pens, I pre much lost count but I have five big ziplock bags with pens of every color, style, and tip size. I have a bunch that have the names of the places or businesses they're from, and some with the names of pharmaceutical companies or drugs on them.

I also collect cookbooks. The oldest one I have is a recipe book from 1933 for a line of pressure cookers that isn't even made anymore, that has a newspaper clipping from 1923 for cherry pie tucked inside of it.

Not much of a collector but i have recently found an interest in collecting Anime Figures, about 15 or so and of course anime now just over 1.2TB.

I mostly only collect anime stuff and video games. I like collecting snes games since it's my favorite classic console. I use to collect pokemon and yugioh cards when I was younger, but I sold them off long ago.

Can files on a computer count as a collection? I generally download when I see something interesting, but half the stuff I do d/l I don't even watch/play. I used to have a big collection of books and DVDs/games, but I simply don't have the room for them anymore, so I decided to go digital on everything. Now all I have to worry about is having enough hard drives.

~~~ DVDs: Have countless huge boxes full of these babies, stocking pretty much the entire wardrobe in my Entertainment Room. >_@ Some of which get replaced with vastly superior Blu-ray versions, but still. The majority of my collection I have probably never watched, which is generally what a true Collector does. They accrue a large amount of something they don't need. Still, over time I slowly watch through them... Tons of TV Series', and a million various movies. I kind of stopped buying any more a year or two ago though, so I think I've halted the addiction.

~~~ Games: Huge libraries for the original Playstation, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and to a lesser extent Gamecube and Sega Saturn. I doubt I'll ever have time to finish but a quarter of all those games in this lifetime, but I digress. I haven't acquired new games in a long time though, so similar to the above I at least have some discipline and self-control nowadays.

~~~ Swords/Weapons: Mostly swords, but I also have several hunting knives and one bigass naginata so far. I must have about twenty swords by now, some of which are false-edged and cheapass replicas, but a few worthy proper swords too. I sometimes refer to my Entertainment Room as the Room-of-Swords, as everywhere you look you will see a sword somewhere in your sight of vision. I should really have twice the amount of swords by now, but a large order I made several months back never arrived and the pricks are avoiding my emails. Karma will catch up with them if I myself do not, so I'm not really concerned. I don't have as much disposable income these days so sadly my sword collection hasn't had a chance to grow.
