i like the detailed background and lightsaber battles more in episodes 1-3 but i like the action and story better in 4-6

The Return of the Jedi is my favorite because it has Boba Fett, Ewoks and Jabba the Hutt. [spoiler really though?] Not to mention the awesome scene where Vader kills the emperor.

A New Hope because it's the first one and gave me so much excitement when I was a little boy.

The older ones were incredible. The ones made more recently are terrible in terms of actors, acting, and focus on things that catch and keep the attention of the audience. JarJar was probably the best actor and most characteristic in the new ones.

Even though Jar Jar Binks was freaking annoying, Phantom Menace was the first one i ever watched all the way through and it also is the only one with Darth Maul in it (my personal favorite sith that appears in the movies). Though that is followed closely by Empire, that one had the best story out of all of them.

It is so freaking hard to decide. Whenever I do Star Wars I'll watch the whole series from start to finish, episode 1 through 6. I think probably Star Wars ep.4, especially after you've watched ep.3.
