I've always liked the series because it was just more in depth than other rpgs, and the challenge rating is also a great bonus. How ever if I would have to pick, I would have to choose the first Shin Megami Tensei trilogy. Note I never played the first game on the super famicon. The games on this line seem to be the best challenge for the buck in my book. Even if people complain about how statues effect heavy they are. The game keeps the P4 battle system and has many extras such as a new female role. new social links, and some new personas. And you can even fight Margaret as an optional boss. It's wicked cool. some1liku Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 Only played persona 3 portable but I loved it, no joke I played for a month straight from morning to morning(not an error) only getting a few hours of sleep a day(kept crashing from exhaustion) and only breaks we're when I went out. Man do I miss that summer and high school but seriously great game beat it twice almost three quit when I messed up shinjis slink was going for a perfect game.
