The more animes I watch, the more times I seem to get disappointed by the ending of an anime. The only reason I get disappointed is due to an anime not really finishing, some open story lines or even the main story line and never really finish it or leave it open but close the anime off. That is what I hate, I can still enjoy the anime but the ending like that can make a good anime into an alright one.

There is very little chance I will be disappointed with an ending because I would usually only stick around long enough because I do like it to some degree. I realize there are some really bad endings but the ones that I watch I rarely ever don't like.

Lately it is a 50/50 thing. Reason being i am very selective of my anime. Though there are the occasions where i just choose a random anime title. For instance the last anime i watched Nabari no Ou, disappointed me in a whole and the ending. It had so much potential, but due to the anime ending it left it open big time.

some anime often don't leave me disappointed as long as there is a definite conclusion, if they decide to end it with some flimsy ending that just teases you and makes you want more but in the end doesn't is just a pain.

after three seasons of familiar of zero it took years for another season.

the future diary, there was more to it in the manga than the anime. in the anime they just end it with a noise. pain

I'm usually disappointed after I finish an anime. But there are different types of disappointment. Generally I feel bummed out that I just finished an epic anime and I wish that it could go on. But sometimes I'm disappointed by abrupt endings, or general lack of a real ending and you can tell things were rushed, so I'm disappointed the series didn't get a proper finish. And lastly I sometimes feel disappointed that I wasted hours of my life watching a terrible anime. Unless the anime is just awful, I usually try and finish it just to give it the benefit of the doubt
