Hmm, seems that Kabuto is either lying or Kishimoto forgot how Kabuto was introduced to us. Kabuto had been a genin for seven years, if I recall correctly, because he intentionally failed each of his Chuunin exams. As a result, he wouldn't have been given any important missions.

Besides, I always figured Kabuto was a sleeper agent, meant to have been found after the Battle of Kikyo Pass.

More reveal about Kabuto's past in this chapter. It seems Kishimoto has totally forgotten how he introduced Kabuto.

Kabuto was supposed to be found in the battle field after the battle of Kikyo Pass which was at the very end of the Shinobi World War. Yet here it is shown that he stayed in the orphanage for 3 years and then he took part in the war.

Interesting how orochimaru met kabuto while he was still in the orphanage. Lol at Danzo ( The Amazing Corrupt Old Man ) it just had to be him.

Danzo is really favoring that one eye of his, think this was around when he lost his eye, or took shisui's?

Also, when does sasori play into all this? sasori sent kabuto to orochimaru as a spy, but orochimaru was able to get kabuto to turn, even after kabuto's sasori-memory was returned. But they are completely ignoring that here! ARGHHH conflicting kabuto pasts!

maybe izanama makes plot holes?

Totally agree with you here. It seems Kishi has lost it this time, and he needs to patch up his mistakes here pretty good........wonder if he can do it though.

hmmm, it seems a little sloppy how they handled what we had been told about kabuto's past, but it makes sense, to a degree. Still frustrating how little it tells about sasori, as well as most of his past; as if they were trying to cover one big hole they were slowly tearing open.

Couldn't have agreed more with you. That was some desperate move from Kishi but it seems to have worked. Also I wish Kishi would get over with all that "Kabuto's past" and get on with all the action.

I agree with you 100% there. That story about Kabuto's past is a waste of time.....and so disappointing after a two-week wait!!!!! It does give a bit of insight into his psychology but then, it doesn't matter any more.
