Kabuto had been a genin for seven years, if I recall correctly, because he intentionally failed each of his Chuunin exams. As a result, he wouldn't have been given any important missions.Besides, I always figured Kabuto was a sleeper agent, meant to have been found after the Battle of Kikyo Pass. Leviathan Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 I always thought Kishi might introduce an attack named Izanami for the Uchihas seeing that all their Doujutsus are named after different Shinto gods/deities. I guess I have my answer now though the reason is a little idiotic. I was really looking forward to see the Izanami in action. Oh well I just have to wait for another week. It seems Kishimoto has totally forgotten how he introduced Kabuto. Kabuto was supposed to be found in the battle field after the battle of Kikyo Pass which was at the very end of the Shinobi World War. That story about Kabuto's past is a waste of time.....and so disappointing after a two-week wait!!!!! It does give a bit of insight into his psychology but then, it doesn't matter any more.
