Koby Posted February 24, 2008 Report Share Posted February 24, 2008 It seems like some people are thinking that we will see Rukia achieve bankai around WW time. What do you guys think? I'd like to know why you think she should/should not achieve bankai.Personally I don't think she should achieve it, or at least not at her current level. It's true that she has the strength to be a seated member, but isn't one because Byakuya didn't want her to get hurt, but still. Bankai is suppose to be the last release, and only really powerful shinigami are said to have it. Rukia's brother once said that even of the noble houses a shinigami that is able to obtain Bankai is like 1 out of 4 or otherwise rare (if I remember correctly). Therefore there is already too many people with Bankai, and well Bankai is suppose to take thousands of years to fully master.. Which makes Bankai sound cool, but if everyone starts getting it, that would be lame and ruin Bankai.. O.o However now it seems everyone is getting Bankai or already has it.. Just seems like Bankai really isn't that hard to obtain anymore.. :/So I wish she doesn't ever get Bankai. However I have a feeling Kubo will give her it eventually. Kubo Tite is too afraid to kill off any of the main cast or semi-main cast. And if he did kill them off, Orihime could always reject their death and BOOM they are alive again.. Citizenmanman Posted April 8, 2008 Report Share Posted April 8, 2008 Well, she go owned, than stabbed in the stomach with a sword, and died in the manga (or, at least it definitely seemed so... and Sado (Chad) got owned pretty hard, and seemed to have died... by being cut in two practically... but, that is one of the main problems with Bleach, they just do not kill off people much at all... I am just really hoping she stays dead, cause she is the worst, most annoying, and crappiest of the characters in Bleach...So here to to hoping they (he/she, whoever.) finally get some balls and kill off a character. *Holds up Bacardi 151 bottle, takes swig* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mean, I love Rukia and all, but I don't know if it would really make sense for her to achieve bankai since she is a little weak compared to lots of other characters who haven't achieved it yet. Plus, she didn't have like a thousand years to try.I guess she could try the much quicker route that uruhara came up with, like what Ichigo did, but I doubt she'll get it like that.Still, I have a feeling she'll achieve bankai sooner or later, whether she should or not. Kraltos Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 May i point out that you guys are mostly looking at battle strength and such to call her weak... i think that depending on what kind of bankai she would get should decide if she should get one... i mean squad 4's captain isnt particularly strong but her bankai is rather cool and suited to her... if rukia were to get a bankai... i think it would need to be along the lines of a support or non fighting bankai... maybe something even like issen's bankai (though i think i just spelled his name wrong...) AnimexOnigiri Posted May 31, 2010 Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 I don't know if it's possible for her to achieve Bankai but really at this moment im not too sure being since she's no where to be seen in the current story between Aizen and Ichigo/Ichigo's dad/kisuke/yoruichi she's not in the story right now at this moment so it's hard to say like if she were fighting against Aizen and like she's like on the ground half dead and she pulled and Ichigo and lifted up her sword and went "BANKAI" then yeah i'll think she can achieve it but idk at this moment. Ace Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 i hope it never happens. bankai is supposed to be immensely difficult to obtain. if she does get it, then it'll be all like DBZ where every single character started going SSJ, even though it was said early on that a SSJ appears only once in a thousand years or something.
