Koby
Has he? He seems weak as hell now. Let's take what we know:Back in SS, It seemed he was strong as hell. He pwned Jirobo like it was nothing and after a while, was able to *somewhat* keep up with Mayuri before turning into God and wtfpwning Kurotsuchi. Now, fast forward to HM. Even with the combined efforts of Newly-powered Ishida & Bankai Renji, they couldn't do shit to Szayel. Then Mayuri walks in, and pwns Szayel like it was nothing. My point is, Did Ishida get WEAKER, or is this just another Inconsistency's from the Kubo Tite himself?Discuss.^^^ Quote from another forum.. Haha.. Trying to bring in new discussions! My take on the topic:Ishida doesn't have the glove anymore so he is simply fighting with his own strength. He has gotten stronger then he was during the SS arc. But I believe he was still stronger with the glove released because he said when you release the glove you go beyond the limits of the Quincy. Therefore without it he can't go beyond his own limits.Plus Mayuri has probably trained, which hasn't been shown, to become stronger because of the impending fights coming up in the WW arc. What are your takes on the topic? Sultan of Six
I kind of agree with you Koby on some points. Ishida has indeed become stronger since the SS arc. Of course he beat Mayuri, but that was after he did a limit release. He would've gotten killed if he hadn't released. About Mayuri defeating Syzayel. He defeated him because of Szayel's own blindness of himself being perfect. Besides, Mayuri was testing his new found product on Syazel. It wasn't a matter of strength in that battle, but a battle of wits.
Azirius
I would say his own strength has increased, but not to the point where he has surpassed the Quincy Final Form. I reckon he'll get there eventually though.
Golden Nightmare
Yeah I think he got stronger as well.Of course Mayuri surpassed him, the guy is a Captain! Here's another little question:Do you think Ishida is stronger than Ichigo?
*shin.kara~
maybe i haven't paid enough attention in Bleach... who's Mayuri? as soon as I read the name I thought it was that one puppet-daughter of that creepy captain science dude lol but then i read it was a "he" so now i'm just lost xDTo answer the new question, no I don't think he's stronger than Ichigo at all lol cause Ichi has the hollow inside him, plus his ginormous riatsu lol and Ishida is limited to having to absorbe spirit particles in order to use his weapons

Golden Nightmare
Lol you were on the right track!!Yeah, Ishida does have to absorb spirit particles in order to fight but does anyone remember what he did to that Arrancar guy? (the one with the pink hair...don't remember his name! ><)
Linoud
Thats the guy they're talking about. Syazel or something. No, I dont think Ishida is amazingly strong. Definitely not stronger than Ichigo. Why? Ichigo is the main character. They can do anything usually.
*shin.kara~
oh hahah yeah i got the names mixed up xD okay I was close haha thanks i'm used to just seeing his last name, not Mayuri so I totally thought it was his daughter there xD but yeah....and i agree, Ichigo is the main character, so technically he has to be the strongest of the group
SoheNExus
The senrei glove works like weighted clothing, it limits a Quincy's ability to gather sprit particles, if one could use their powrs wearing it the arrows themselves would be stonger (that's the general purope of the glove). If a quincy with senrei glove training is not wearing the glove, they're arrows would be the same strength but they're ability to use them would increase hence the 1200 arrows at once (and how Ishida became stronger SS arc to HW arc.)I other words he is stronger due to not having the same weakness. NinaRose475
The issue with mayuri beating Szayel is that mayuri was able to replace his limbs with artificial ones (helpful when fight a guy with voodoo dolls). I think that Ishida has gotten stronger but he is still not as strong as he was in the quincy final form.
SenSei
He'll still try 2 keep getting stronger ....
Nero D. Ace
even if he has, considering the powerful enemies around him, he's weak. let me explain:-in SS, he was a little weaker than the lieutenants.now in HM, he's become comparable to lieutenants, but considering the arrancars there who take captains to their limit, he looks weaker than orehime
tommy168
I think he is getting stronger, but still not enough to fight all the captain level enemies. Maybe he got more special techs hidden but so far, not looking too positive on his skills.
Nero D. Ace
no offense against the ishida fans but right now, uryu is like an ant fighting amongst cockroaches.what does that even mean???
SoheNExus
The reason Mayrui was able to beat Szayel is the same reason Szayel beat Renji (or would have at least, had it not been for Uyru's inerference,) they both had data from they're oppents previous fights collected by bugs (never thought I'd used the term so literally) and prepared accordingly. nikki_gurlz
it's weird and confusing because what i noticed is that at the beginning of the bleach series when they (chad, orihime, ichigo, ishida) went to rescue Rukia, they were able to beat some of the shinigamis and captains, and as the story progresses they get stronger and stronger, however, they will battle one of the bad guys and not be able to win, however, a shinigamis or captains come in and kick the bad guys' asses like it's a piece of cake.......it's like the shinigamis and captains are weak enough to get defeated by ichigo (mostly) and his team at the beginning of the series, but as ichigo team's power grow so much throughout the series, they only barely reaching the captains' power levels.... SenSei
a little bitI'd say a lot bit. It's all because of his second form of Quincy...
