if you like dragon ball z you probably like alot of action i think soul eater or full metal alchemist will be good...maybe you should read some manga too (like Psyren)

The anime that bonder posted is very much like DBZ, however another that I think you might like would be Bleach, what with all the charging up of power they tend to do( that was harsh Koby). Also you should give One Piece a try, its got a lot of funny bits in and has a nice steady stream of Action.

Hmm, in all honesty, the closest anime to DBZ is "Dragon Ball Kai" ;D
